Quiet, cleans well.
Nice silver colour which looks the part, cleans very well with many different modes such as Eco mode which takes 3.35 to complete but uses less electricity and water than the other programmes except for fast clean 28 mins but doesn't dry, Push and Go hold for three seconds, delay function, machine is quiet . Can set the water hardness depending on your water supply, top rack is adjustable so you can put large plates in the bottom rack without hitting the rotor arm. The salt seems to last for ages with this machine compared to my old one, I keep waiting for the out of salt light to come on, I checked the salt reservoir and still has salt, checked just in case the indicator was faulty but its not. The door closing catch is plastic and feels a bit cheap, hope it lasts. Quite a good machine so far, washes well, build quality is average, but i suppose if you want top build quality you have to pay a lot more, good value for money.

Internal racks / baskets need redesign.
Having had a Beko dishwasher that was a stalwart of kitchen appliances running at least twice a day but due to value and speed of delivery I purchased the Indesit Push and Go D2F HK26. It does well at getting what dishes can be manipulated into the racks clean and is very quiet when operating. The upper basket design is terrible. The sides have a sloped angled design that is too narrow to hold many items such as glasses upright. The flaps though adjustable are relatively unusable as they do not fold down enough to hold items below in place or stable enough to place items on top. The bottom rack tines are too short for anything other than side plates, and not strong enough to hold much more than the children’s trusty Ikea plastic plates to the point I swapped it out on day one with the one out of the Beko conveniently still in pieces in the garage. With having the controls mounted into the top of the door this adds additional weight which is compensated by the stiff latch mechanism. However the force required to open the door means I pull the dishwasher forward about 3” before the latch releases. Maybe this will lessen with use. Overall if time and hindsight allowed I’d replace the failed impeller on old faithful, or just buy the Beko instead.
