Q: Could someone please tell me - What is the point of the height adjust. I've fitted it, not altered the height, and it seems fine.

It affects the over flow level ie how high the water level is in the cistern .untill it overflows in to the bowl

Q: My cistern is a dual flush jobbie with 2 buttons. Will this syphon do 'the job', or do I need another type of syphon?

I don't think so, as the design relies on two different operation of a single flush handle. I doubt if this can be adapted for a two-button flush.

Q: Can I adjust the quick flush

As far as I am aware there is not any adjustment to the flushing system, other than press and hold the flush handle down for a part flush or press and immediate release for a full flush

Q: Can this be used to replace the dudley cacsade flush

Bear in mind I am not a plumber ,or diy person.I have looked at pictures and think it may be same of very similar.it's really easy to fit,just need to take your time making seals secure.they screw on.if I can do it ,anyone can.good luck.
