I chose the long handled spoon because, while trying to get a powdered product out of a can using a shorter handled ladle, I sliced my hand.

I'm not going to lie, me and my husband giggled at the length of this measuring spoon when I opened it. It's a little bit obnoxious but I use it every day! It is accurate and works well with various foods (I use it to measure hummus, coffee, shredded cheese, olive oil, etc.) It comes clean easily and is made well. It has a bit of weight to it and doesn't bend or flex under pressure. I don't have a dishwasher but it is dishwasher safe, which is important! I'm very satisfied with this measuring spoon.
