These are great, another item that is not available in stores, plumbers will have no idea what you’re talking about, but it makes life so much easier. Used for a claw foot tub, they allowed me to run a normal 1/2” fitting for the supply lines. It really opens up your options instead of expensive Restoration Hardware- type fittings. Tub is up against the wall, it doesn’t have to be pretty, just functional.

I spent days trying to figure out how to connect an antique bath fixture to modern plumbing - the problem wasn't the size of the threads but the fact that they were not tapered, as all new fixtures are, so new nuts won't tighten on them. I bought these to use with a vintage style tub filler faucet. These were the only connections I could find to work with the specific thread pattern on my faucet. I haven’t installed them yet, so fingers crossed that I won’t have any leaks!The price was so reasonable that I felt comfortable making the purchase.

I am so happy I happened across these on Amazon. I wasted a lot of time at Lowes and Home Depot looking for copper fitting to hook up a new faucet on my clawfoot tub. Took all those copper fittings back to Lowes yesterday and received a refund of over $50. This bath cock coupling pair allowed me to use braided stainless steel faucet supply lines. No runs, no drips, not errors.

Looks great and no leaks at all. I used pipe dope and made it as tight as I could.

Excellent for claw-foot tub faucet 3/4" couplings to 1/2".

These did the job, but you have to tighten them to an extreme to get them to stop leaking.
