good helmet, affordable
My last helmet was a HJC, size XXL, and it fit my head perfectly. The 818 H340 Modular Flip-Up, size XXL, fits just very slightly more snug --and that's just fine.Like other comments, it 'breathes' well. Noise is about the same as other helmets I've owned. (I usually ride wearing earplugs, anyway.)On the plus side, the styling of this helmet is excellent. It looks great. The finish is perfect. The design provides extremely wide peripheral vision.You can spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on a helmet --and they're well worth it. But this one (a modular, in size XXL for $82) is well worth it.Be sure to order slightly larger than you think you need...

It's DOT . NOT high end but will work. seems to run a bit small.

Well built
Very comfortable helmet, very good price. My only complaint is the release button is inside the chin and I pull my beard hair but I can live with that seeing as the helmet is very comfortable and breathes well

I didn't feel it was made with poor quality. It felt cheaply made.
