How to even start! I bought this for my mom's birthday after she showed it to me on a whim, but I didn't realize how much it meant to her until I surprised her with it! If you'd like to hear the story, keep reading!My grandma, now passed, when my mom was younger, would tell her to go check on her Jacob's ladder to see if they were in bloom every spring. It was a fond memory for my mom and since my grandma loved to crochet, it added bonus points to the gift. She currently has it displayed on the kitchen window sill for all to see. It's a daily reminder of my grandma's life and I think it gives my mom a sense of comfort in remembering her. We love you, grandma! I bet you and Jesus are having fun gardening those Jacob's ladders with the real Jacob now haha.It was definitely worth the price and it's so charming to look at it. It gives off a warm light, isn't heavy, and it's the perfect size for a desk or table top decoration. I love it. Mom loves it. Go for it!

Super cute! Great gift

This is a pretty decorative light piece. It doesn’t give off a ton light, so not like a lamp, just an ambient background light. But it is absolutely beautiful. It has plenty of blossoms that can be bent and shaped however you would like. I have mine on a bookcase against a window. I was easily able to bend the branches so that all the blossoms were pointed inside the room. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but it is corded. If you are using it as a table centerpiece, you will need to bring a battery pack (not included).

Sweet gift for someone who loves crochet.

This adorbs Lily of the Valley light is ridiculously cute! The crochet stitching (made with acrylic yarn) is tight and very well done. The wires for the tiny lights are cleverly hidden by yarn that's wrapped around the stems of the plant and each flower. The light that is emitted is a soft white light that looks even softer thru the yarn. The plastic pot is wrapped in jute with a crocheted edge. It's exactly as pictured.This light takes two AA batteries (not included), and the grass in the pot has a hidden toggle switch that turns the light on and off. To insert the batteries, you have to gently lift the plant out of the pot to get to the plastic battery encasement. Keep in mind that some of the grass may shed a tiny bit if it's handled too much.After removing it from the box, you'll need to gently bend the leaves and the flower stems into the shape you want, but be very careful doing this. The wiring for the lights goes up the stem and into each flower. If these parts are bent too much or too often, the wiring may break.The entire light is about 2.5 times taller than a soup can so it's bigger than I imagined (which was a bonus!). So far, I'm kinda diggin' it as a nightlight for my bathroom, but it looks so great in every room that I'm having trouble deciding where it should permanently reside!The only reason why I took off a star is because I thought it was just a tad too expensive at $21. Other than that, I highly recommend!
