Unfortunately I ordered the wrong one. I suggest you check how many pins yours needs before you order it. The lead was good quality but it had to go back unfortunately. The seller dealt with the return quickly and effectively. Not their fault I didnt know there were two different plugs.

Works really well. Not much else to say about it really. Perfect for anyone looking for this type of cable.

I have just rebuilt my PC but I haven’t updated the two monitors that it connects to. The new motherboard supports DisplayPort and HDMI outputs. Neither of the monitors have an HDMI input but one has DisplayPort and the other has DVI-D. So, to connect the second monitor, I needed an HDMI to DVI-D lead.This lead from Snowkids was just the ticket. Simply connecting the two ends and the second monitor sprang into life. As both ends are digital, the PC could automatically adjust to the monitor's resolution. The resulting picture is rock solid.The cable is the braided type which I like. There is no need for a conversion box or any such like bulky plugs. This lead will stay in use until such time as update my monitors. May be one of those ultra wide monitors.Overall, if you have the same problem as I had, then this is the perfect solution.

This cable is intended to provide digital video-signal connectivity from HDMI socket to DVI-D socket. It is bi-directional so it doesn't matter whether your source is HDMI and display is DVI, or vice-versa. The caveat is that although HDMI can carry an audio signal, DVI for the most part can not. So this cable is not for you if you need both picture and sound. If you need to hear audio use HDMI-HDMI to get it to your TV, or at source use 3.5mm headphones, optical SPDIF to TV or a DAC processor and amplifier, PC sound-card, or a suitable sound-bar or home cinema receiver, perhaps.I did not run technical performance checks, suffice to say that this Snowkids connector provides a quality picture with no dropouts or blocking on a LCD 1600 x 900 monitor and 1080p TV, used with a variety of sources including Virgin Media and Sky boxes, PC, laptop docking station, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Picture quality has no discernible difference compared to DisplayPort (DP)-DP and HDMI-HDMI, or DP-DVI. I had no resource to test to DVI limits which should conform to 2560x1600 pixels @60hz in any case. As with all digital cables they either work because their specification is suited to your device configuration, or they don't.And like all working digital cables, this one is a noticeable improvement over same source using blue VGA/D-SUB or even Scart cable with a proper monitor or 1080p TV.In appearance the Snowkids cable looks durable due to its tight-braided shiny silver-blue covering, and the sturdy moulded colour-coordinated plugs firmly ensconce the cable ends in hard vinyl sleeve integrated to the plug body. Respective metal parts are finished in gold plate. Perceived quality is good and the double-layer braid makes it stiffer than you would expect a 6-ish mm cable to be, but it can be persuaded to lie flat eventually.In function I found this cable an adequate solution to connect a laptop as second source to an older but perfectly good monitor which has only a choice of DisplayPort or DVI as digital inputs. Worthy of note: I found the securing pins at the DVI end to be a tiny bit longer than necessary, giving the impression they weren't ever going to go properly tight. A little bit of extra torque cautiously applied with a small screwdriver would not push the pins in the last 2 mm, so don't try it unless you are prepared to strip the soft plastic grips. As a failsafe to prevent plug falling out completely, they just about work, but could be more secure. For this reason alone I would not buy this configuration of Snowkids cable again. I have another Snowkids adaptor which is HDMI to USB-C and which looks and feels similarly well-made, but by design does not have any securing pins. All in all, a working connectivity solution at a fair price if this is the configuration you need, let down by design of the locking pins - they really should be the right length or matched to the sleeve design. I could send it back and go through the rigmarole of refund and replacement etc, but will probably just shorten the pins with a couple of split rubber washers, and save myself a week of grief.

Feels like far better quality than it should be for the price. Short review this time-it's just that good. Cable feels thick and sturdy, connectors are good. Nothing wrong with picture quality. If I ever need to buy another cable like this, I will buy it here.

I got a new laptop and needed a cable to attach it to an external monitor. This one was the cheapest and a bit longer than other cables - so a good deal all things considered. It came, it works.It appears sturdy enough, but ask me again in a year to see how it is working out. :-)

Very sturdy, with metal housings, gold plated connnectors and stiff braiding to the cable itself - The cable is chunky, and fitted the displayport and HDMI without any problems. Exactly what I needed to hook a monitor up to my work laptop.

I brought this for Mac Mini and monitor which only has a DVI port on the back. I was originally using an adapter on a stranded HDMI cable, my monitor hated it, it would go red or just give me a blank screen. So I replaced it with this lovely cable and had no trouble at all. I get a lovely sharp picture without all the hassle of an adapter, should have got one long before now.

Deze kabel heeft een goede kwaliteit. Ik heb met deze kabel een oude HDMI naar DVI kabel vervangen en ik heb de indruk dat de letters op mijn scherm iets scherper zijn geworden (wat ik helemaal niet verwacht heb). Vandaag dat ik daarmee erg tevreden ben. Enkel de DVI connector zou iets stabieler kunnen zijn. De schroeven zijn uit vrij zachte plastiek, waardoor je daarmee iets voorzichtig moet zijn (dus niet te grote kracht met de schroevendraaier erop uitoefenen).

J'ai souhaité annuler cette commande dans les 3 minutes qui suivaient sa validation, en vain. Je vais vous la renvoyer car j'ai réédité la même commande pour un article de 3 mètres.
