This really works!
We have 6 dogs. I vacuum at least every 2 days and mop often as well. This really is a dreame machine. I had bought the Bissell vac/Mop, hated it. This picks up all the hair, tile looks amazing and the self cleaning and drying function is totally awesome. I had my doubts because I had never heard of the Dreame brand but so glad I took a chance. The build is solid, doesn't feel like cheap plastic. I was able to put together myself, super easy. It was well packed. It talks to you, has adjustable volume and cleaning is a breeze. It stays charged the entire time I use it. You will still have to use your regular vacuum to clean drapes, fan blades, etc. because it doesn't have attachments for that. This machine has really saved me time. When cleaning it, I pull lid partially off, drain dirty water in toilet and then throw all that pet hair in plastic grocery bag to throw away. I highly recommend this vac/mop duo. I have been using for 2 weeks. It comes with extra roller, cleaner, extra filterstand and a cleaning brush.

Outshines My Roborock Flexi Lite
I switched to the Dreame H12S after my Roborock Flexi Lite failed on me only three or four uses in, and this vacuum-mop has already restored my faith in cordless wet-dry cleaners. It handles everything in a single pass, from cracker crumbs and sticky purées to spilled milk, and its smart sensor automatically boosts suction whenever it hits a tough patch. Edge cleaning is impressive too, reaching right up against the baseboards so corners stay crumb-free. Despite having some heft that feels reassuringly durable, it glides easily and runs quietly enough that I can still hold a conversation or hear the TV. The self-cleaning cycle with hot-air drying is a game-changer: set the unit on its compact charging dock, press a button, and the roller scrubs itself, flushes the dirty water, then dries so it’s fresh for next time. Battery life has been solid—three full sessions covering my kitchen, hallway, and bathroom on a single charge, with turbo mode only needed for extra-sticky spots. It also comes with detergent, a spare filter, and looks sleek enough to leave out. I have used it three times so far and everything works flawlessly; I will update this review in a few months to share how it holds up, but early impressions are excellent.

5 stars for current functionality, Zero stars for no replacement parts
2/22/25 Update: The wet dry vacuum is still working, but less than 4 months after purchasing this 12S model, replacement rollers and filters are not available. Not even knock-off versions. What the actual F. Plenty of replacement 12Pro rollers and filters out there. Will update this and restore to higher rating if I can find replacement rollers and filters. I may be checking the warranty details to see if I can return this and replace it with the 12 pro. Original review: My expectations for this wet mop vacuum were low, but it has been great so far. I get my kitchen, dining room, and living room floors fairly well clean with a single charge and that’s on Turbo Mode (don’t know how Turbo Mode is different from regular mode, but it seems to be more powerful and it goes through battery power faster). I have two dogs and one is a Great Pyrenees who digs big holes in my backyard and sheds like crazy - red dirt and white fur tumbleweeds everywhere. At the end of a cleaning session, the dirty water container is full of fur and brown water so it’s picking up what I need it to. As someone with OCD tendencies, I would prefer to scrub the floors by hand with multiple buckets of water by my side. As someone who is exhausted and has back pain, though, that’s no longer realistic. Before this wet vacuum, I would just dry mop the floor and feel bad about not having the energy to tackle mopping. This vacuum helps me not only get some reasonably good floor cleaning done with little effort, it pushes me to get more cleaning done because I see progress! The vacuum announces out loud what you’re doing which is nice guidance since the buttons and lights aren’t all self-explanatory. When pressing buttons: “Power on”, “Turbo mode”, “Suction mode”. When you turn off the vacuum: “Powering off - return to base for charging”. When you press the self-clean button, it says something like ‘Empty dirty water container before starting self-cleaning’. Similar with drying function and charging. Oh and it self-cleans AND dries the roller! All you have to do (besides push the vacuum around): 1) fill the clean water container with water and cleaning solution (which has a great scent in the bottle but unfortunately or maybe fortunately if you have trouble with scented products, I don’t notice the scent at all after cleaning) 2) put vacuum on charging base and press a button to start self-cleaning, drying, and charging process. 3) empty and rinse the dirty water container and rinse the little filter (I leave the filter and dirty water container out to dry for at least a day) I don’t know if this picks up everything, but the floor looks much cleaner after I’m done and the dirty water tank is full of gross crap so it’s picking up a lot. I don’t really give a 💩 about streaking because my flooring is ugly, but I don’t really notice any if that’s a concern for you. It doesn’t get all the way to the edges on the side but I think it gets closer if you push the front of the vacuum towards the edge of the room. It’s low enough that it fits under a lot of stuff like the dishwasher and cabinet bottoms and my end tables. The only potential complaints/areas for improvement: 1) The clean water and dirty water containers don’t like to snap back into place right away. This might get worse eventually as I use it regularly and wear out whatever locks them into place. But maybe it will all be fine 🤷♀️. 2) Would love a “steam” option to feel like it’s deep cleaning. But with all the other stuff this vacuum does, I’m okay with adding really hot water to the clean water tank to shoot for a similar effect. Here’s hoping this vacuum lasts 3 years or more.

Best Mom Hack
I will DIE ON A HILL that this is the GREATEST mom tool to exist with messy eaters!! I send this vacuum to everyone I know that asks about wet/dry vacs. Battery life is excellent, I can clean all my hard surface floors (1,800 sq ft) without having to recharge it and usually only go through one water tank depending on how bad my floors are. Design is simple and super easy to clean- fresh water tank, dirty tank, brush & filter. Biggest thing to know is that even with self-cleaning mode you NEED to dump your dirty water tank after every use or it will get smelly. The vacuum itself has voice prompts to remind you. Also, there are times where I do need to scrub things prior to using if I’ve let it sit for too long (not the vacs fault, my fault). I change the filter and brush every couple months which they sell on their site so you can match with the correct ones. I also use the recommended cleaner. Busy mom of a toddler and newborn and this thing saves me AND my back. Sincerely, a mom who gets very overstimulated with CRUMBS AND MESS!

Makes cleaning so much easier
We have 4 dogs, 3 of them shed. 2 love to wrestle anywhere and everywhere, and get muddy feet often. 1 likes to take off and jump in the neighbor's pond. I have to vacuum and mop constantly. With this I can do it in 1/4 of the time. I'm disabled and the upkeep was killing me. We went through a horrible drought this summer so the ground was so dry, when they went outside they brought the dirt in with them without effort. Now I can clean the floors multiple times a day and it still takes me less time than just doing it once every other day. I just wish it laid flat in order to get under the bed without having to move it. It will be great when I use the floor scrubber for extra deep cleaning as it has a suction only mode and I can suck up the water instead of mopping it up and using the spin mop. I love the self cleaning feature and it also dries itself. It self propells so it's not hard to push back and forth. It's got some weight to it but it's not unmanageable. I hope I continue to love it. I will update at a later time. It does leave roller marks on the floor, but I can live with that for the convenience and ease of it.

No stinky smell!
I debated in buying this for a long time, but I'm so glad I did. It works better than I expected. I previously had the crosswave when it first came out and no matter how well you cleaned it, it would smell bad when you turned it on (I read that water got sucked into a part near the motor and now they have a clean out solution to run through it) so I was unsure how this would be. Happy to report that it works well, and the cleaning is easy! I make sure they're is nothing in the roller shield, and then rub the self clean/ dry cycle. When that's done I rinse the filter and water tanks and let them dry.

Certified Neat Freak APPROVED!
You guys.... I am in shock at how well this thing works. I run a Roomba once a day as well as zip around with the shark vacuum on the regular. I did all of this BEFORE vacuuming and look, just look at the photos/video!! Somewhere between ridiculously pleased and grossed out at what was on our floors. For reference we live on a farm and have 2 dogs, one cat, two adults, a revolving doggy door, and a woodstove. Things get dusty and dirty. We have LPV flooring and white tile in the bathroom. Vacuum is quiet but surprisingly heavy. There WAS a tiny bit of light streaking after drying, but hardly noticeable (my only con). I love that it speaks to you and tells you exactly what to do, and in the auto mode it will run orange or red extra suction on its own if it encounters an excess of dirt or debris. The cleaner it comes with has a light bleachy smell and is not overpowering. I am sensitive to smell so was very happy about that. Our home is 1600 sq ft and I used only 55% of the battery and 3/4 of a tank of clean water. We do have a lot of large washable rugs though... I had some concerns about it leaving too much water on the floor, but it seems the first push runs the roller and the pull sucks it all up, so you're best running the vacuum in lines and getting a double sweep in each section. Time will tell if this lasts.... I sure hope so!! **Update** used it a few times and noticed a couple small cons. It will only get about an inch or so close to the wall, so won't clean right up against it. It also does not lay down flat to get under furniture. Maybe a 30 degree angle before it starts to lift and not suction/clean properly. Regardless, I still like it a lot and am keeping. Overall I am mopping more regularly now than I would have with the ol mop and bucket, so that's a win on the cleaning front IMO.

Faulty clean water tank
Would give negative stars if possible! I waited for a week to get this and when it arrived it didn’t work. The clean water tank doesn’t register as being full when it is so the machine doesn’t mop or self clean. I reached out to dreame and after going through all the steps they tell me it a defective machine and that I need a replacement machine. The seller is woot and they are not responding to my email and the only thing that Amazon can do is a refund and not a replacement. I am extremely frustrated because after putting the machine together I can’t now not manage to get it back in the box that it came in. I don’t know what to do and have been left with no help from anyone! All I can do is help others not make the same mistake I did. Don’t purchase this!
