Just as good as the name brand
Okay, so I had my doubts. We bought our fridge new less than a year ago when we moved into our new house. We love our fridge - and we love the water system. It comes out tasting great, cold, and consistent. When our first filter finally gave up the ghost, we did what we normally do - find a good product at a good price to replace it with. We aren’t always glued to name brand, because there are almost always other brands with products that are just as good. But we were nervous about this, because of just how much we use the water from our fridge.These filters? Just as good as the name brand filter that came with the fridge. We’re not sure how long it will last, because it’s only been in there a month or so. However, it has handled our high usage great so far, and the flavor is exactly the same as the name brand filter.Worth the money, and worth the experiment.

Exact fit.
Why spend more money for OEM. These Icepure Pro filters are awesome and fit just as well at less the 1/2 the price. Easy to use and filter out impurities just as good as OEM. Pull the cap off and put filter in and twist. Run a few gallons through the filter to rid it of the carbon and you're all set. They recommend changing the filter every six months, so this 2 pack takes care of entire year. A+ to Amazon.

Great product.
I have used these filters with my LG refrigerator and they work great. The cost is must better than the original LG filters. I would certainly recommend them.

Good Value and easy to install
It works. We have RO Water system, but no waterline to run to the fridge. This is the only expensive way to get decent ice (we previously ran RO water to the fridge directly in another house). We are not getting water via this filter, just ice. Hope it last a while.

Who needs name brand? Save some money!
So I'm convinced that people who prefer the 50 dollar LG branded filter over these are either snobs or LG fanboys, because these filters are excellent! We just bought our new LG fridge this year and went to buy a replacement filter as ours ran out and I was shocked to see the name brand one was 50 dollars! For ONE filter! I mean if it lasts forever thats one thing, but these filters only last a few months so why the markup? So I decided to give these filters a try. You can definitely tell a difference between this and unfiltered (I drink a lot of water and could tell when the other one was running out- yuck city water!) and once you run a few cups through it to get it running its perfect. I didn't notice a difference between taste in this one and the LG filter, in fact I think this one is a little better. So, if you're like me and don't want to just waste your money on nonsense, go for this filter!
