Fantastic amplifier!! Was a bit sceptical about it but for 400 squid was willing to take a risk! So glad I did, gives great sound hooked up to an old pair of mission m72 speakers with a project debut carbon turntable. Apparently the tubes can be upgraded for better sound again! Am happy enough for now though!

Bought this to power my Q Acoustics 2020i’s and it’s doing a brilliant job. Love the warmth from the tubes and will likely upgrade these tubes for even better experience. So happy with this purchase, it’s not top end but sure is bang for your buck.

Fancied a valve type amp and this one was both aesthetically pleasing with good sound specs. On receiving it was well packed. Once unpacked it was heavier than I expected and fully assembled, no valves to insert. Very solid and good quality unit. This is basically plug and play. It have tried different vinyl and BT audio tracks and it all sounds great. BT was easy to setup. It is also nice to have manual bass and treble controls. The displays seem to display power level not source signal level. Would have preferred the latter but is fine. One slightly negative comment is the remote seems a bit flimsy. Mine was faulty out of the box. The good news is I contacted Juson Audio and they sent me a new one immediately, so I know their support is very good. Overall I will be giving 5 stars for this as I'm very happy with it.

I went from the Yamaha A-S501 to this amplifier as the Yamaha is getting a bit dated now, however, after trying it for a month this amplifier was no where near the quality of the Yamaha, horrible hum with the phono stage and sound quality just wasn’t there. There are some good points to the amp, the THD is quite good considering it’s a tube amp and I never had a issue with distortion even at higher volumes This amp is good for someone who’s just starting out in the HiFi game but if you’ve already had/tried other amps then this hasn’t got the sound quality of other amps on the market for the same price.

Really good amplifier. The sound it produces exceeded my expectations for the price. Would highly recommend.

An excellent little amp for the money. I have changed out all the tubes now at this stage and it is performing like an amp 10x times the price.

I purchased the lower powered model and it arrived with a faulty VU meter so was returned. I decided to try again with this unit. This time it arrived with the LCD screen detached and loose in the casing, so will also be returned. Two defective units from the same manufacturer delivered and returned just a few days apart. This really is not good enough, the quality control just isn't there and although they look great I cannot recommend these products to anyone.

Ich habe schon zwei Exemplare der kleineren Brüder des JTA 100, die JTA 50. Nun war ich neugierig, ob sich die doppelte Leistung des größeren Bruders bemerkbar macht. Ich habe zwei Klipsch R50 M angeschlossen und einen passiven Magnat Subwoofer aus den 90ern. Der JTA 100 macht einen besseren Punch im Bassbereich, die Höhen sind etwas linearer als beim JTA 50, der Unterschied ist aber gering. Der JTA 50 reicht für meine kleinen Regalboxen völlig aus, den JTA 100 würde ich bei Standlautsprechern empfehlen. Ich habe auch mehrere Class D Röhrenhybridverstärker von Fosi, diese sehen gegen die JTA Class A/B keine Sonne. Sie klingen dagegen richtig muffig und dumpf, das merkt man schon nach 5 Sekunden und ich habe schlechte Ohren. Die Toshiba Endstufen im JTA machen einen deutlich besseren Job als die OP Amps von Texas Instruments in den Fosis. Nun ist das natürlich alles nicht wirklich High End, aber für echtes High End braucht man auch einen Haufen Kleingeld. Die JTA machen sich aber optisch wie Highend und klingen genauso gut wie ein Denon für 500 Euro aus den 90ern. Insofern ist das völlig okay und man kann damit einen auf dicke Hose machen, wenn der Besuch kein audiophiler High End Profi ist. Es mach ja auch wenig Sinn, einen High End Verstärker zu kaufen, wenn dann kein Geld mehr für gute Lautsprecher da ist. Im JTA 100 glimmt vor allem die WY3P Glättungsröhre sehr hell und wunderschön, das Auge hört mit. Im Gegensatz zum kleinen Bruder (JTA 50) haben wir noch zusätzlich einen Phono Eingang und ein richtiges Display, er ist etwas größer und schwerer und hat 7 Röhren anstatt 4. Beiden fehlt leider der Balance Regler. Der Volume Regler erreicht bei etwa 2 Uhr sein Maximum, danach kommt nichts mehr. Die Fernbedienung mutet billig an und muss zielgenau ausgerichtet werden. Aber für das Geld bekommt man ein wirklich wunderschönes, top verarbeitetes Gerät mit gutem Mittelklasse Klang. Die Röhren kann man günstig bei BTB als NOS nachkaufen, ich würde mir immer einen Satz auf Lager legen. Ich habe noch einen älteren Hybriden von Aosibao, deren Röhren sind kaum noch zu bekommen. Nur noch Restbestände aus China direkt, da es sich um spezielle Shuguang Röhren handelt und diese Röhrenfabrik vor einigen Jahren abgebrannt ist. Aber obgleich mein erster JTA seit zwei Jahren jeden Tag 6 Stunden läuft, hatte ich noch keine kaputte Röhre. Vor zwanzig Jahren hatte ich einen Little Dot Röhren Kopfhörerverstärker, da waren die chinesischen Röhren noch schlecht, viele waren mikrofonisch, mittlerweile ist das aber nicht mehr der Fall, so dass Tube Rolling meiner Ansicht nach unnötig ist. Aber wem es Spaß macht soll es tun. Mit den JTA`s macht man nichts falsch, das ist absolut kein typischer China Billigkram sondern wirklich okay. Von den Class D Hybriden würde ich aber die Finger lassen, die klingen mies, ich habe insgesamt 7 Stück davon, als Kopfhörerverstärker sind die noch okay, auch am TV um Dialoge lauter zu machen, aber für Musik besser nicht.

Initially I was skeptical about buying a product I knew nothing about...boy was I wrong!! This is a great product. It does exactly what it is supposed to, and does it well. The design asthetics, build quality and performance are all great for the price. I recently had a custom unit built for my audio system, along with my vinyl collection....this piece has really forced me to change my plans. It's too well designed to be kept in a cabinet...it needs to be out as a piece of industrial art, especially when light up under low lights. Beautiful.
