This is a easy fixed for an older door. Very sturdy after install. Door is 26 years old and now works great.

Perfect fit

Bought this to replace the bracket impeding the movement of the garage arm. Works as intended. Screws penetrared the metal with no problem.

This garage door hinge saved me $450. That is the estimate that the repair company quoted me to fix it. The original hinge broke and tore the screws out of the metal support beam. They told me I would need to replace the support beam, the bar tgat braces it, the hinge and lengthen the arm that attaches to the brace. I bought this hinge, lowered it about 5 inches down the support beam, used the included screws to secure it, and now my door works perfect.

This appears to be of good construction material, but it was advertised as a universal replacement compatible with all LiftMaster openers built after 1993. Upon installation, I discovered that the bracket was too wide for my purpose, and I could only fit three of the four attachment points onto the door's rib. Nevertheless, it's function was fully satisfactory.

Bracket was exactly as seller described and arrived early.

Was a SOLID upgrade from the builder grade with reinforced weld at the pinch point where mine snapped
