Buy it, leave it on, forget it's there
This grip is excellent! It has a nice form factor and the rubber material is pretty much identical to the native body, so it looks like it is part of the camera. The grip is very secure and comes with a small wrench that you can keep magnetized to the bottom. I like that there's a slit on the left side of the grip where I can attach a clip, it's out of the way unlike the native strap clips. I also appreciate the included hot shoe cover and shutter button (although I don't plan on using the latter)!

Well-made and a must have for Fujifilm X-T50
Fits perfectly and is well-made. The workmanship is excellent and the black grip with silver frame looks perfect on my Fujifilm X-T50. The added grip helps enormously with avoiding finger cramping and aggravation of my carpal tunnel syndrome. This is a must-have for me and well worth it, especially when I'm out for hours of shooting and need to have my hand on the camera so not to miss any opportunity for a good street photo.

Perfect Fit! Nice and Grippy!
I had a tough time deciding between the silicone version [ASIN B0D6RF6518], the wood version [ASIN B0D6RF8NNG], and the leather half case [ASIN B0D7Z8DYBX] so I bought all 3. After testing each below are my initial thoughts... Silicone version [ASIN B0D6RF6518] - More grippy than wood version as expected because of silicone vs wood - Little bit bigger than the wood version (1-2 mm maybe) which provides just enough clearance for fingers with bigger lenses - Charcoal color matches camera perfectly - Nice touch that they added a NICE hotshoe cover and soft shutter Wood version [ASIN B0D6RF8NNG] - Wood grip looks nice but is a little slippery (as to be expected) - Wood part is a little smaller (1-2 mm) than the silicone version so provides a little bit more clearance for fingers - Charcoal color matches camera perfectly - Nice touch that they added a NICE hotshoe cover and soft shutter Leather half case [ASIN B0D7Z8DYBX] - Leather feels ok but a bit cheap feeling - Leather not glued down properly around the finger grip part in front making the leather feel a bit spongy - No arca swiss plate built in I'm still undecided on the wood vs silicon versions but hope this helps others! For reference, the lens in pictures where I'm holding the camera is 35mm 1.4 and the lens in picture with tape measurer is 27mm 2.8 WR.

Useful for Larger Lenses
The XT-50 is a fairly light camera and feels unbalanced in the hand with heavier lenses. This grip really helps without adding much weight. The camera is much easier to handle with one hand. The battery/SD card opening is not covered with the grip in place. That being said it is somewhat more difficult to to remove the SD card but this is a flaw that rest mainly with the camera. The grip is designed to attach directly to a tripod. It’s very well built and feels like a part of the camera.

Good quality grip, but doesn't help where it's needed most
So I'm actually OK with the stock grip of the X-T50 with smaller lenses - It's the larger lenses where I really feel like I might want something, and that's why I bought this grip. And it's quite good quality for the price, although it leaves more of a gap between the silicone grip part and the body than I'd like. The fundamental problem is that there's already so little space between the lens and the edge of the camera that adding a large grip, somewhat counterintuitively, makes it harder to hold, as there's not enough space between the grip and the lens to wrap your fingers around... and I say this as someone with not the largest hands. This is probably more of a fundamental limitation with the X-T50 when it comes down to it. Also not crazy about the need for a tool for the screw that mounts this to the bottom - I have other grips from smallrig that have a d-ring built in, eliminating the need for a tool in the first place. Not sure why that choice was made here. There's not much to complain about otherwise, it's genuinely a good and comfortable grip, but it doesn't solve the problem that I had hoped to solve. (And my general feeling at this point is that the X-T50 is just not a good match for larger lenses in general.)

Great quality, much needed grip
the x-t50 is super light and compact, and if you're like me, can feel a little too small in the palm of your hand - making it hard to grip over time. This SMALLRIG grip fit on the x-t50 seamlessly, matching the leather details on the camera perfectly and gave a much needed weight and grip on the front of the camera that made it much easier to support one handed to take photos. It is made completely of metal and even has a storage spot for the key to attach and remove the handle from the camera. It also came with a hot shoe cover in case you didn't have one, which is a nice addition. I also like that the handle also has tripod mounts on the bottom handle and has access to the battery/memory card door in case you need to change either. I would recommend to anyone with an x-t50.

Excellent, though tricky with some lenses.
This is an excellent grip. It's very comfortable and the magnetically held screwdriver is an excellent feature. Do be aware if you're buying the grip to use with big lenses there are issues. There's not much finger room with the Fuji 16-80mm mounted on the camera, similarly with the Viltrox 75mm. That said the kit is really well made and I'm happy enough with it to have bought it twice - I got it for my Fujifilm X-M5 too.
