It is designed to turn a child onto its back so it is able to breathe regardless of which way it enters the water! Typical use: any form of water based activity/safety around water. Key features include a special soft fabric that will not cause chafing when worn all day, very light in weight for increased comfort. Does the job it was made for very well.
Fit's my 6 year old perfectly and keeps him afloat and safe in the water. My only negative is that there is only one strap under the crotch rather than two - not that it will slip off him as it fits so well. The only other issue that we have is that it is a life jacket which means he cannot swim in it as it's purpose is to keep him safe - ie: turn him on his back and keep his head out of the water. Unfortunately we could not find a bouyancy aid for his weight. Does the job it was made for fantastically well.

Quality life jacket
Quite large size for the lower weight range but well made. My grand daughter will find it a struggle to move about easily in it at the moment but will grow into.
