Product description highly inaccurate - the advert clearly specifies that this is wired ribbon. This is incorrect, it is *not* wired at all. I was specifically looking for wired ribbon that would hold its shape - this is not it.

It was a bit wider than I wanted and needed. I really need a 1" ribbon in both deep purple and lilac and I ordered a roll of both but there are 1 and 1/5" wide so I'm not abled to use them for what I need it for. I was searching for l inch with the wired edges but could not find it.

It is just the right amount of sheer shininess and strength on the outside wire to make it workable for the tree. It naturally curls & that is the way I kept it on my tree

While the function of the ribbon I received was fine, the form was not. The item is supposed to be 30ft in length: of the two I ordered, one was 29ft and the other 26ft. Worse than the shortage of length were the multiple splices in both. Splices are generated when a manufacturer takes a leftover amount from one manufacturing run and stitches it to the beginning of the next. Generally if one's very unlucky, you'll see a single splice in a 50ft or100ft ribbon roll. In the ones I received, there were 4 and 6 splices, respectively, over the less than 30ft rolls. To me that indicates the manufacturer is taking the dross of all their manufacturing runs and stiching them together to make this substandard product. It's wholly unacceptable, and makes the product practically unusable. I definitely won't be purchasing this ribbon again, and highly recommend others avoid it as well.
