Exactly what I was looking for.
Love these! I am 5 feet 98 lbs. and have a short torso, so mid rise was what I needed. I bought size 2 short. In some of the reviews some customers were sent long but I took a chance and received what i ordered. There is a slight smell, like it’s been in storage but that’s my only complaint. I steering away from skinny jeans and wanted a more relaxed and comfortable fit. I highly recommend.

A good quality Gene that is affordable and fits me
I have several pairs of this particular. Jean. I like the quality and the fit for me. I was worried that they had changed in the Gap between the last set and these but not to worry. They were the same quality, the same material, and the same fit. I happen to think these are a good value for the money, but what's most important is that they fit me. Unless you're a size 2 and built like a popsicle stick, there is an art to buying jeans that fit you. Once you find a brand or style that works you stick with it and this is mine

Back in Lees, and happy about it
Here I am with plenty of skinny jeans, flared jeans, and wideleg stovepipe style jeans but no straight legs that are back in favor. Way back in time, I always wore them (before massive weight gain, and recent subsequent loss). And I wore Lees. Could I do it again? With these jeans, yes. Other styles I tried fit through the body but left me with baggy thighs or that lumpy crotch situation no one has a word for. These were perfect: skimming the body nicely without clinging. Some stretch, not a lot, just enough. Amazon suggested a 14 but the 12 was the answer. I’m 5’10 and got the long. Perfect length in that I can wear flats without dragging but heels too.For me the waist height was a bit above “mid”. The butt pockets are well-placed and of adequate size to not look too tiny and make your rear look broadly huge.I might bump this to 5 stars if they wash well and don’t shrink. The ones I got were on sale for like $25 which was certainly fair. If other colors go on sale, I’ll be back.

Measure yourself honestly..
I am 5’7 and 137 pounds and bought the 8 long. They fit perfectly, but the regular length would have been fine too. They are true to size .. by that I mean, measure yourself honestly and compare those measurements to the size guide and your jeans will fit fine. They are a little darker than the photos, but that’s fine too, they’ll fade a little over time. I do wish the pockets were a little deeper, they’re about a half pocket.

Best jeans ever.
Best jeans I have found in years. They fit my body perfectly, including the length. I weigh 129# and am 5'2 1/2 inches. I ordered a 6 short. I need a 26 1/2 inseam. These are perfect. Best of all, the hem does not turn up when washed and dryed. A quick smooth of my hand and the hem lays flat. I have found my forever jeans!

I need to order these in more colours! - Update - I did
Update in September 2024:Well, I did buy them in two more colours. And I'm not particularly glad I did. The worst were the Ecru ones. A total disaster. Otherwise, I wouldn't have knocked off a star, but if it weren't for the blue ones, I might have knocked off two! I think my ecru pair is defective. All three pairs I ordered were 12 Long. In the first two new pictures, I aligned the crotch of my original blue pair with the ecru. The latter are lower in the waist (not a plus, for me) and so much shorter in the legs I would think they weren't "Long", although it is written on the labels. They barely touch the top of my foot, which definitely doesn't work with this cut! There is a lot more stretch in the ecru ones, which makes them sort of clingy. On the positive side, they are not see-through, in the sense that they are opaque. But you can see the outline of every bump and dimple on my knees. and the fabric clings so much that the ankles flare out, although when I laid them on the other jeans, I could see they are also cut that way. The blue ones have a slight taper, which makes them look straight on the body, since most people have larger calves than ankles. The ecru ones actually flare out a tiny bit at the very bottom, and it looks terrible on (you'll have to trust me, I have not taken a photo and have already gotten rid of the jeans!). Sadly for me, I live overseas and sending the jeans back would probably cost as mush as the price of the jeans, so I have given them to a much shorter woman in hopes she can cut them off above the weird little flare and get some wear out of them. I also think one leg is longer than the other. It looked like it on, and it looked ike it when I laid them on the bed. They were definitely new and had all the tags on, but there was a small brown spot on the back on one leg. I think it will wash out, but I didn't bother with it because the jeans were so hopeless. I think it might be fly p**.I also bought the Washed Black. I have kept them and I think I will wear them. Thankfully, since they cost $48 US, which is quite a bit for an ordinary pair of jeans. They are also smaller than my blue pair, but I can wear them. They are longer than the ecru pair, a smidge shorter than the blue. The colour is nice and they fit better than Ecru (I forgot to mention that the ecru pair comes up higher in the front than the back!!!). As they should be, they are higher in the back than the front, where they are about two inches below my belly button (of course, I am tall, but then again, these are supposed to be long). They are also stretchier, more synthetic than the blue ones, but less than the ecru ones (synthetic jeans are not a good thing in my book). But they are okay. I think Anchor two years ago rates a 4.5, Washed Black in 2024 rates a 3.5 or maybe 4, and the Ecru ones I received on the same day rate a solid 2!!!!!!!!!!!On the plus side:These are my jeans. They fit very well and are very comfortable. Most of the time, Lee jeans in size 12 Long are as good as it gets on me. I need a 34" inseam and these, hmm, they might be 33", but they are okay. (I'm 5'11") Although I prefer a high rise, and these are mid rise, they are okay and do not give me a muffin top. They are straight leg, but pretty narrow. Just that little bit of extra fabric at the ankles so you can tell they're not jeggings. Actually, they're nothing like jeggings, because the fabric is fairly thick, although nice and soft and doesn't stifle you like plastic (it's 30 degrees Celsius/86 fahrenheit where I am right now, so that's important). The colour is Anchor and pulling it out of the package, I thought it was darker than expected. Then I realized they have those fake wear marks down the front. The faded part goes to below the knee, so that it looks like I have really long thighs and short calves, whereas I am the exact opposite. But it's not a deal breaker. And there is a little whiskering on top, although not too much. I would prefer an even colour all over (hey, I'm on the far side of 55) but it isn't too bad. I really like these quite a bit, so I am going to go back and look at other colours.Hope this helps!

Perfect fit and style, and very comfortable to wear
I just bought these and have worn them twice so far (and am wearing them now!). They are so comfortable with just the right amount of stretch, without bagging out in the knee and bottom, as others have on me too quickly during each wearing. I am a size 4, or small, in pants, and these fit true to size. They are just a tad difficult to button when I first put them on, but very quickly become easier and very comfortable. They don't feel tight around my middle, and are very fashionable looking. The denim is thick enough that I can wear them to go camping, or do yardwork, and nice enough looking that I can also wear them for social events. I am going to be buying 1 or 2 more pair!

Great quality, great fit and the length is to the bottom of the ankle (regular size 6) fits slightly loose. I'm 5'6' 130lbs curvy figure.
