New BalanceMen's FuelCell SuperComp Elite V4 Running Shoe

I’m newer to running (as an adult). I have too many of the current best shoes. This is one of my top two favorites and my one if I had to keep only one for races. It’s plush and protective, bouncy and propulsive, and stable all togetherIt’s not as lively and springy as some others (like asics MEP) or as super plush and protective as some (NB1080V13), but it’s a great combo for a somewhat aggressive but still stable and protective shoe for a race or uptempo longish should run

I have run Nike. Vapor fly shoes and Nike Invincible run 3’s, until I decided to try these after a recommendation from a Marathon runner. The shioes are excellent, light and lots of cushion for grinding endurance runs. I liked them so much I bought 2 extra pairs. Great shoe.

I was able to run farther and longer with ease because the bounciness and cushioning of the soles

I saw a few videos on youtube about these shoes and thought I would try them as my first "Super Shoes". I was very impressed. I have been running for just under a year so not super experienced but from my take, these made a big difference. I wore them for a local 10k and got PRs in my 1 mile, 5k, and 10k times. 10k was 4 minutes faster(54 to 50). You can feel the push forward when you walk in them but I don't notice it when running, I just feel the spring off the back of the stride but it really helps. I also wear them for interval workouts and more PRs there as well(without trying).

This had to have been one of the worst experiences with an elite shoe I have ever had. The upper is not comfortable, and the heel digs into the Achilles, rubbing and tearing the skin until the shoe fills with blood. I had to take a heat gun to peel back the heel so it would re-form and curl backwards and not dig into me just to be able to use them. They run about a half size too small as well.On the good side, the cushion and plate create an amazing combo of plush and firm, a perfect balance of squish and pop. Nice and lightweight overall. Definitely a race day and speed training shoe, but not a recovery or mixed purpose one. Not reliable on dirt.Not impressed with the shoe for the price. I’m in the minority, but that’s my honest review.

I love the comfort, the feel and the vibrant color scheme. This was a great buy. They are worth the price tag.

So I ordered these shoes as a gift, upon receiving shoes had creases in the front folded inward sole of the shoe had dirt markings and tiny rocks, horrible who sends used shoes specially right before Christmas.
