Review of B0G1LZTKQV - LAB FISH FA1204(N) Digital Scale High Precision 120g x0.0001g: This scale offers 4 digits of precision in grams. Has bubble and adjustable feet to level for accurate readings. The weighing pan is completely enclosed to prevent airflow, again for accurate readings. For most accurate readings, the scale should be turned on and the circuitry allowed to warm up for at least an hour. I performed the self calibration before testing, but I did not allow a full hour to warm up. Also, the weights could be less accurate than the scale. This is what I found, photos attached: 100g = 99.9989g (this test weight was provided with the scale) 5g = 4.9981g 1ct = 0.2000g (1 carat = exactly 0.2g). I used this very weight when I used to be a diamond appraiser in one of my past lives. I would have loved to have had this scale 50 years ago, but I was lucky enough to have the high-precision balance scale personally used by the world famous diamond cutter, Lazare Kaplan. 1ct = 1.0005ct Looks like high accuracy to me. Might have even higher accuracy under more controlled circumstances.

I ordered this lab scale because we are gradually upgrading our small lab setup and simultaneously replacing older equipment as it starts to perform less than reliably. In this case, this was to replace an older model, and it’s been one of our best new additions so far. I've been leaning heavily towards Lab Fish for our new equipment (and by 'heavily' I do mean almost exclusively), and this scale really reinforces why I made that call. The 0.0001g precision is incredibly consistent, and it handles fine measurements like a complete champ. Our older scale was starting to need recalibration frequently. This one scale is crazy exact, has a really good external calibration function for changing conditions, never misses a beat, and is super easy to use, considering the functions and options available. The interface is well mapped out and easy to work with. Switching between units or using additional functions feels fluid, not 'stop, dig through menus, go back'. Build quality is EXCELLENT, like our other Lab Fish equipment. There are no cut corners or cheap parts. This was 100% made for a working lab environment. If one can have a favorite piece of lab equipment, and let's be honest.... most of us do... this is currently mine. It's a great addition to our setup, and I feel like it is a very wise investment.

This scale features a high precision system that allows measurements in increments as small as 1/1000 of a gram!! We have multiple certified traceable weights, and have tested them on this scale to confirm accuracy and everything matches with our factory certificate. Works every time & has given us no issues yet! A++++++

This is a premium grade piece of laboratory equipment that will be at the forefront of our usage with cosmetics. This Lab Fish analytical balance is a pleasure to work with. It functions excellent as a digital analytical balance! The balance is encased in glass on all sides and the top to prevent contamination. The glass side and top panels slide out of the way if needed to tend to the balance and materials. It has an auto self calibration and is accurate to within .1 mg It comes with a 100 mg weight for calibration. As you can see from my weighing the 100 mg weight, this is a precision machine! Impressive! It was easy to calibrate and measure in various units. It has a maximum weighing capacity of 120 grams so it can handle most lab needs. It also has an accurate counting feature that you can select by using the unit button to scroll to it. It has a very clear and easy to read front digital display that displays all pertinent info. A huge feature is that this premium lab instrument has a standard RS232 connector so you can connect it to computers and printers for data analysis and record keeping!!!! Awesome!!!! The body is built to lab standards with a stainless steel balance area, glass enclosure and sturdy ABS body with sturdy feet A precise premium piece of lab equipment. I highly recommend! This was easy to setup and works quite well. It's extremely sensitive and accurate, as one would hope. It comes with adjustable legs and built-in bubble level to make sure it is as level as possible for measuring. Calibrating it was also pretty straightforward. The built-in connectors for transferring data to a computer is a great addition to this as well. I've previously tried a cheaper version of this scale, and this version fixes a big quality issue I had with that version. The weighing plate on this one is a higher quality material versus the other one that had a film on it that peeled off. I am happy to see better material quality with this one overall. Overall, this is a high quality scale that is perfect for most lab environments.

I already own the LAB FISH Digital Analytical Balance with dual display (200g × 1mg), and it's been excellent. But when one scale is tied up with a long compound prep, I often need a second one to start something new without delay. My past positive experiences led me straight back to LAB FISH—this time a smaller-capacity model with much finer resolution (0.1mg instead of 1mg). Since I rarely exceed 100g anyway, the lower max capacity was no issue. Another winner! This analytical balance is precise, repeatable, and rock-solid reliable. The display is outstanding—just like my first one: bright, high-contrast, and perfectly readable even under strong lab lighting. The built-in bubble level is a nice touch that makes setup quick and hassle-free. I never hooked up the printer port on my older scale, but I plan to use it soon for automated logging—great to have that RS-232 option ready. With so many LAB FISH products now in my setup, they're firmly my go-to brand after that first great impression. Highly recommended for anyone needing serious milligram-level accuracy without breaking the bank.

Very professional looking scale that looks high quality. Unfortunately I have no way to test the accuracy so can’t comment.

This is a very accurate laboratory style scale that can weigh to within 0.0001 grams. The scale comes with good instructions that show how to set it up, operate it, and calibrate it. The scale is capable of unit conversion, counting quantities (based on weight), there's a percentage function, a peak hold function, and something called a Baud Rate function. It comes with a 200 g weight to calibrate the scale and as you can see from the picture, this scale read 200.0060 g out of the box with no calibration - that's impressive and a testament to the excellent packaging of the unit.
