No idea of what the actualy capacity of this is but it's not anything close to 5500mAh. For example, an OEM has a capacity of 1750mAh. 5500mAh should give about 3x more battery, it however gives a bit less than that of an OEM battery.

Adds extra battery capacity as compared to what is sold stock with the 3ds. Easy to install. Package even included all of the necessary tools.

It does the job at being a good replacement battery but it's definitely not an upgrade from a stock battery. Does not feel extended what so ever

Did a basic test, two consoles running nothing at the home screen basically fully charged and max brightness. The "long lasting" battery basically lasted the same length, enough where it feels like it just made up for any potential differences in charging. It seemed to last another 30ish minutes but it's effectively just a stock battery. Cheap replacement to be sure, but the description currently says "48 hours of standby battery life" and I got like 4 hours, so that's just an outright lie.

This new 5500mAh battery upgrade for the Nintendo 3DS XL is a game-changer. The increased capacity provides much longer playtime, and the included tool kit made the installation straightforward. The only minor issue I encountered was the battery life not reaching the full potential I expected. However, it’s a significant improvement over the original. Highly recommended for extending your gaming sessions!

Just as described and came with the tools to boot! My XL's battery was dying within an hour so I figured it was time for a swap. Can get about 4 to 5 hours now and no longer need to worry about bringing my charger! 5/5!!
