It just worked!
Just bought a Coleman 17r camper as our first try at this camping thing. It came prewired for a camera with the Furrion mount. I looked at how much a camera from Furrion costs and was shocked to see they are around $500. I did some searching on YT and came across someone who recommended this camera setup, and for the cost, I had to pull the trigger and give it a shot. Good news is that it worked perfectly and mounted up with no issues. It does come with a rubber gasket to go between the camera body and the RV, but I suggest also running a bead of silicone around it to ensure no water gets in.

Gives me a good view behind the camper but doesn't fit in the existing mount
This works for what it's intended for. I can see behind my 30' travel trailer while backing up to make sure I'm not going to run into things. It has plenty of signal strength with the 30' trailer. It's not going to be a nice 60 FPS image, but it doesn't need to be. The only reason I took away a star is because the camera didn't come out and mount in the existing Furrion adapter. Instead, it had one the exact same shape so I had to remove the existing one entirely and install the new one in its place. It also seems like maybe they have another camera with the same model number that comes in a different form factor or something--documentation was all over the place.

This is a great, more budget friendly backup camera option. Very pleased!
I purchased this backup camera with the 2 cameras with the idea that I would use one camera on my cargo trailer and the other on my fifth wheel camper. That plan worked out great and I am very happy with the purchase. Installation was easy and pairing up the cameras with the monitor was effortless. I have one trailer set up as CAM 1, the other as CAM 2 and it is easy to change from one to the other with the touch of a button. The quality of the camera and monitor seems to be very good, metal construction and no cheap plastic. I am also very pleased with the clarity of the image, especially at this price point. My fifth wheel was pre-wired for the Furrion backup camera and the Amtifo camera Furrion adapter worked well. IMPORTANT NOTE- if your camper is pre-wired for a backup camera, be sure to check the polarity of the OEM installation of the pre-wire before you use the included plug adapter and plug the camera in. My RV was wired incorrectly from the factory with reverse polarity (red wire- negative, black wire- positive) but I caught it before possibly damaging the camera. If you are looking for a backup camera for your trailer or RV and the other, more expensive brand is not in your budget, I consider this to be a very good option. Very pleased so far!

Hell hath no Furrion
Excellent Furrion Camera "plug and play" replacement! In my case I had to wire it as the previous owner cut the plug off, so it took a bit longer. If your RV/trailer is prewired for a Furrion, this will fit in the exact same holes. Remove the dummy cover entirely. This has a nice watertight rubber grommet where the wire feeds into the trailer, it will take a little effort to insert into the hole behind the camera. There is a button on the back of the camera, I would recommend pushing that button to pair it to the screen before buttoning everything up. I couldn't get a signal and had to take the camera off and then reinstall it. If you are relatively handy, the install is pretty straight forward. Very clear image! It is hard to say how long this will last, but it beats spending a small fortune on the Furrion. If you are looking for a direct replacement, I highly recommend this.
