The media could not be loaded. I was always fascinated with having a drone and being able to maneuver it around for photographic and scenic purposes. Past experiences with drones weren't the most pleasant due to battery life and sluggish software. This time I was browsing around and did some comparison and research as I learned that I probably have to spend quite some money in getting a decent drone. Specta drone checks all the boxes regarding state-of-art at specifications and technology at decent pricing.The shipping was fast and the packaging was definitely more considerate and higher quality than what I have had purchased years ago. Drone was light, the controller was actually heavier than the drone itself. The software was also significantly more intuitive and easier to navigate than my previous experiences, while the instructions could definitely be better written, I was able to tinker around and get my phone connected to the drone without running into any major hurdles.The drone flew well even though I am still considered as a novice. The battery appears to be able to last for at least 30 minutes from the software indication. The camera that is connected to the drone was also transmitting the view with pretty decent fps and no significant lag (probably didn't fly it far enough?). It is fairly easy to take images & videos directly handle controller. It also has this safety feature that if you are approaching the drone, it would automatically rise up to avoid contact; but if you force it or accidently make a panic move, it will still crash into objects. The only drawback is that the drone actually makes a very loud noise on the air, but guess it is was it is with the smaller blades.Overall, I would recommend buying this drone; I'm looking into buying some extra batteries and potentially a case for the drone as well in the future.

The drone is very easy to fly, I would recommend to start with an open space like a park first for practice. The app is also very intuitive. The battery life is really good, I got about 25 minutes of flight time on one battery it depends on if you are just hovering or if you fly around. I wish they had more battery I can buy, but currently not in stock. The photo is really clear and sharp. I love how the night photo looks. There are plenty of settings to play around with to get a good photo and video. The app makes it so easy to share photos and videos with friends directly from the phone. It is under 250g so no need for part 107, just make sure you keep and line of sight of the drone at all time. I was able to fly pretty far and lost the sight of the drone, but was still able to see it on the phone screen of where the drone is. I would recommend this drone for people who wants to play with drone without breaking the bank. It is easy to fly and it is budget friendly.

The media could not be loaded. We’re going hiking/camping with friends this weekend and wanted to buy a drone to bring with us. Ive always heard great things about having one to take scenery pictures and videos. I didn’t want to spend almost 1k for one since I’m a beginner and not sure how it was going to work out. Or, in case something happens to it. I was searching for one that’s closest to the name branded ones but budget friendly. Came across this with decent reviews so decided to give it a try. First of all, I didnt have to register the device! That’s a plus. It came with a small manual, remote control, usbc cable, audio cable, and extra wings. The only thing that I needed to do before I set it up was to charge the device (it only took about an hr), and download the app. Downloading the app was no issue because I can easily connect it to my phone. Set up was actually a breeze and took like 10 minutes because it brings you through a step by step process via the app. Once I got it set up, it was time for a test take off! It was SO easy and fun! I took it outside of the house because I wanted to try it to see the quality of the video and I was pretty impressed. The video/picture quality was clear! The flying process was stable and smooth. I cant wait to try it at night! Connectivity was great, no lags, and the battery life lasted more than 30 minutes (surprisingly) which was longer than described. Overall, the size of the drone is compact and sturdy, easy to carry around as it’s pretty light weight. The device is not super loud either; sounds like a desktop fan. I can’t wait to bring it with us this weekend!

The media could not be loaded. ust wanted to share some thoughts on the Specta drone I’ve been flying over the past few weeks—it's been a lot of fun and surprisingly beginner-friendly. It took a bit to get a second battery since they’re limited to one per household (smart move on Specta’s part), but I found a workaround and got one through my girlfriend.The drone’s camera quality is excellent, and it flies smoothly—even for someone like me who's just starting out. I made a small upgrade that really enhanced the experience: I picked up a 10-inch Samsung tablet and mounted it using a bracket I bought separately. The larger screen makes a huge difference in visibility and control compared to my iPhone. The app works great on Android too.A few quick notes:- Battery life runs around 20–25 minutes, depending on wind and recording.- I get about a mile to a mile in a half of range, though heavy pine trees in my area seem to reduce that a bit.- When the signal drops, the return-to-home feature works flawlessly. I adjusted the return height to 215 feet (from the default 330) to better suit my environment.
