Does what it says it will... ❤️
The media could not be loaded. Got this little gadget in today and did a water test using my mini IP DUO to test it out.Easy to put on and take off. It’s very easy to turn from sealing to venting position. I jumped a little when I did it because I didn’t know what to expect, I now know I won’t get steam burnt when I release.I worried about my cabinet and moisture so when I used my IP I would always move it to my sink counter area, I now can leave it in it designated spot and cook all I want with no worries. Great little gadget.

Steam Diverter easy to use, easy to clean
This steam diverter, while so simply designed, is a brilliant solution for those cooks with limited kitchen space and who must place their Instant Pot under a cabinet or other small space. It's easy to place on the Instant Pot steam nozzle. In addition, the silicone is extremely easy to clean. You know how foodies sometimes collect a large number of useless kitchen gadgets--this gadget is one of the most useful I own.

This is a good buy.
It took me a little while to position it correctly on my Instant Pot, but once it was on, it worked perfectly. Instead of a messy liquid exposion onto my upper cabinets, there was a casual steam downward that dissolved into the air. This is a good buy.

Why didn't Instant Pot think of this?
The media could not be loaded. Wow, why the developers at IP not think of this in their manufacturing? Having owned 2 IP's so far and my only complaint being that I have to move it away from my cabinets when I release the pressure so that it does not warp them. That is no longer a problem, Luvcock knocked it out of the park with this dual opening steam diverter. Now the steam is gone before it raises that high.

Love this Do-Hickie
Great Little gadget. Perfect combination of sturdy and flexible. Easy to pop on but then it stays in place. (I have the Instant Pot Duo 6q)I even store it still on my lid upside down on the pot and it stays right in place. Keeps my cabinets protected from the steam and also gives a safe place to simply turn the Quick Release with your hand and not get burned! I know some people use PVC but 1- it took me at least 3 trips to the store to get the right size and 2- it never quite stayed in place the way it should. Totally worth the price in my book. Would be a nice small gift for a pot-head :)

Maybe not the best diversion
I appreciate the idea of this instant pot steam diverter. The pressure release sends steam straight up by design, so capturing and diverting the steam stream is a good idea. This particular solution tries to capture the straight-up stream and divide it in two (through the T-handle at the top). It works, BUT there's so much silicon involved with the fabrication of this diverter that it ends up being heavy. The slightest touch will cause steam to be released from the pressure release valve (which is understandable, because it is also an emergency release). I also didn't like that the silicone picks up a residue during washing, and it already looks like it has a gray coat on its black body. Finally, what I really don't like is that the user needs to twist the T-handle to release steam, and this device still releases that steam under the user's hand, with a potential for scalding. There are other solutions that I will be looking into.

Works well
I like that the steam goes down instead of into my cabinet but it does still rise. The moister is definitely less but I am still going to have to find a spot that isn’t under my cabinets. I am glad that I purchased diverter. It does help a lot

I love this product
I love this product, it does a great job of keeping steam from shooting up onto my cabinets. It sits firmly on the top of valve and redirects air up and out the sides of this gadget. We wash it in the sink with warm water. The silicone used to make it the product seems to be of good quality. I would recommend to others.

Perfect!
This devise is fantastic! I have used it many times since I received it and wonder why it took me so long to purchase. The first time it was used showed it’s value. When I released the pressure on my instant pot out came some of the contents.I was able to use a multiple controlled vent using this device and it was perfect. No burns and no problems for my cupboards either. I cannot recommend this enough. Works perfectly on my 8 quart and 3 quart instant pot.

Fits like a glove
I wasn’t sure if I had it on right, but it does what it says and diverts the steam. I was always worried I’d get my hand in the way of the vent but not anymore. It does leave moisture on the counter but that’s easy to wipe up. Better that then have it on my cupboards.

Not happy that it diverts steam everywhere.
I had high hopes for this product to save my cabinets from steam damage. Alas upon first use, it was unexpected when quick releasing that the steam spewed and bounced in all directions in blasts of steam puffs. Lucky for my quick reflexes that I stepped back before steam hit my face. I couldn’t get near enough to seal it back for fear of getting burned by steam. And steam bounced off pot lid and bounce back up to hit my cabinets and neighbouring appliances on the counter. Very disappointed. Will be returning it.

Does not fit properly
I have 6 quart InstaPot IP Duo and I tried it today and it caused pressure cooker to malfunction (steam escaping everywhere) and I immediately cancelled operation and removed this accessory. Returning item.

Easy to use & prevents cupboard damage
This is an excellent steam diverter that slips easily over the Instant Pot's pressure release valve. (I have a 6 quart IP-DUO60). It directs the steam downwards towards the counter instead of spewing it onto the cabinets. Hint: For a "Quick Release" use the handle of a long wooden spoon to turn the steam valve. This will prevent the steam from potentially burning you.
