M PartCommute mirror internal bar-end clamp black

Having tried a couple of mirrors before, I was desperate for something more solid and stable. I'd looked at this mirror before and been put off because I am on a budget, but I am glad I did get it. It fits securely in to the bar end without the need for extra help (pieces of inner tube to hold it in) and has many different angles at which it can be set.The only reason I have given it a four star is the mirror itself. It is a little smaller than I expected and the finish seems like it might not last, but I would be happy to be proved wrong.I would recommend this mirror to anyone on flat bar bikes. Not sure it would be suitable for drop bars.Update: the dopey twonk who said the mirror finish might not last long (me) hadn't realised there was a plastic protective cover over it. DOH! Now I have taken it off, the mirror is perfect but still a little small.

Edited 24/8/20Nowhere in the advert does it give specific sizes, only saying 'one size'. When I tried to fit it the large fitting wouldn't go inside the bars and the the small fittings were too loose. On the package it DOES have the sizes - 14.5 to 16.5 mm and 18 to 19.5 mm. My bars have an ID of 17 mm! Why on earth don't these people simply put that in the ad and save us all wasting our time and money? Very disappointing.I complained and the seller sent a prepaid return label. That's encouraging but returning is too much hassle for such a small sum and I cut a strip off a milk bottle, wrapped it round the small fitting and that's worked. It's small but not a bad little mirror, shows enough of the view, adjusts easily if you get the screws tightened just right and stays in position over bumps. There's a plastic film over the mirror, easily missed but needs removing.I'm getting another as a spare - but the ad still doesn't say the size won't fit some bars without modifying.

Best ever, easy to fit and adjust and feel much safer when riding seeing what coming up behind you. Very smart design, would recommend.

Excellent product

My heading sums it up, no good for my touring bike which has, to me , normal sized straight handle bars. Why not standardize handle bar sizes on bikes??

Easy to fit. Comes with extra bits for different circumference handle bars. Good field of vision.

Idespencable addition, works extremely well despite looking small, would've without it, very reassuring rear view
