This item is remarkable. It was costly, no doubt, which made me hesitant. I made sure to read through all the reviews. They were mostly sparkling except one or more said the battery didn't last, so I purchased an external battery, which was definitely NOT necessary. I charged the mask before halloweening & there was more than half battery life remaining when my son returned. This is a very nice item. The app is manageable & it was responsive to the voice. I would highly recommend. It is a quality item.

High definition and great quality. Son used it for Halloween. As a funny surprise I uploaded his face to it. It was so detailed that there's no mistake it was his picture. Also uploaded a picture of Winifred (Hocus Pocus), looks just like the picture. We were all very impressed with the lighting, color, and everything it can do. The eye padding is also note worthy as well as being able to see out. I highly recommend this mask.

Not sure if the mask didn’t function properly because of user error or what the case was, but even with the mobile app, the mask wouldn’t connect and kept switching between several different screens. Really cool concept, just perhaps needs tweaked to actually get it to work properly. Mask itself was both heavy but also kinda cheap feeling—didn’t seem worth the money spent. The button on the top broke the night of Halloween which led my 8 year old to leave it in the vehicle and continue trick-or-treating without it. As far as visibility, he was able to see well with it on. There’s no way to adjust the strap to make it suitable for your own face; it was very uncomfortable when trying it on myself.

This was a really cool addition to my son’s costume. The other face options connected through the all is an awesome convenient way control what gesture he wanted. His favorite feature of the app is that you can take a picture of someone’s face and then upload it and display it on the mask! So cool!

This is a fun mask, application is easy to use and fun to play with. But I took a star away because of the battery life. It doesn't last very long. My son charged it fully until we were changing to go trick-or-treating, and it was already down to 75% by the time we took pictures(maybe 15 minutes of use) And was dead before we finished one street in our neighborhood. We ended up having a battery pack attached to it, but as much money as we paid for it. Kind of wanted it to last longer than that. But it is fun for short wears.

I was really impressed by the quality of it and how many different features were in it along with the ease of use with the app for this specific mask.I highly recommend it. Thank you for mines. I've gotten so many compliments on it and will continue to use it throughout the year with different events.

The first couple times we tried this, it worked great. We primarily wanted this particular mask for the app capability, as we wanted to draw/upload our own designs. However, the app no longer functions; it crashes shortly after loading. We tried the app on three separate phones and it crashes on all of them. I'm guessing an app update broke it. While the mask itself is okay, you can get one for half the price without app support. I cannot recommend this one in its current state/price.

I have a new Google Pixel 8 Pro and the App for the mask doesn't seem to work on newer Android devices so this drastically limits the usage and customizability of the mask. I assume if the App worked it would be a great device!

Nettes Spielzeug das per App bedient werden kann. Es gibt verschiedene Effekte die man über die App auf die Maske übertragen kann. Für Halloween ein echter Hingucker. Preislich etwas zu hoch meiner Meinung nach. Aber es ist auf jeden Fall mal etwas anderes. Ein dunkler Umhang dazu und man hat das perfekte Kostüm.

I spent the extra money and bought this mask and so happy I did. I bought this mask for our grandsons 8th birthday gift, he loved it! The inside was really quality, I wore it and it fit both adult and youth. It was fairly easy to operate and looked better than expected. Highly recommend spending a few more dollars for this mask!

It met the requirements and the voice activation feature actually works so it works the way it's intended to.

Ich habe die Maske kostenfrei zum testen erhalten. Inhalt: 1*Maske 1*USB A-C Kabel 1*Anleitung (DE,ENG) Die Maske kommt in einer wertigen Verpackung und der Inhalt hat den Transport gut überlebt. Erstmal einschalten und spielen, bevor man das Handbuch zückt. Danach die App installieren "Shining Display" los geht's. Die App erfordert Berechtigung für die Verbindungen, damit eine per Bluetooth hergestellt werden kann. Mit dem Fold5 ging das recht Problemlos, jedoch hat die APP Probleme mit der Displayauflösung, so das hier das kleine zu verwenden ist, um alle Funktionen zu sehen. Eine Anmeldung ist nicht notwendig. Mit der APP können eigene Animationen, die mit der Handykamera aufgenommen werden auf das Gerät überspielt werden. Die Qualität erinnert dann ein wenig an die Gifs der 90er Jahre. Leider ist es nicht möglich lokale Videos zu verwenden. Lokale Bilder sind jedoch kein Problem. Es gibt auch massig Vorlagen, die dann auf die Maske geladen werden können. Wer viel Zeit und Lust hat, kann mit dem Editor in Echtzeit, jeden Pixel betüdeln. Zusätzlich sind noch feste Sprachfunktionen integriert, welche dann mit Animationen hinterlegt sind und kurz eingeblendet werden. Die Gestikumschaltung funktionierte bei mir nicht wirklich und scheint nur bei optimalen Lichtverhältnissen zu klappen. Wer möchte kann noch die Playfunktion nutzen. Dafür wird vom Handy per Mikro oder Musik die Maske gesteuert. Hier wäre ein eingebautes Mikro in der Maske sinnvoller. Der Gummi ist ok aber eine perfekt Passform ist dieser nicht und damit leidet der Tragekomfort. Die Augen tönen leider sehr stark ab, so das man in dunkleren Räumen ordentlich aufpassen muss. Die Oberfläche des Display macht einen stabilen Eindruck und mit knapp 7h Laufzeit pro Akkuladung ist es auch eine gute Laufzeit. Leider lässt sich die Brille nicht nutzen, wenn diese geladen wird. Knapp 72Eur sind zum Testzeitpunkt aufgerufen und persönlich empfinde ich das als zu hoch. Hier sehe ich eher die 40Eur Preisklasse als realistisch an.
