I enjoyed reading this book very much, but the story was very predictable once we met the husband. I certainly wouldn't call the ending a jaw-dropping twist though...you could see it coming a mile off.

This had me hooked from the start....how devious Miles is and everyone fell for it...then there was still that one twist at the end just when you thought the story was done. Well worth a read.

I’ve read all of AJ McDines books and they capture my attention in the first 2 chapters without fail! I deliberately pace myself when reading her books else the pleasure is over far too soon. Great characters, believable plot and fast paced, love it!!

I was hooked from the very first chapter. This is the first book by this author that I have read. Can't wait to read more.The end was great.

A fairly predictable storyline. If you are home alone and wake up to find a baby in your house and you confirm you didn't have some kind of blackout and steal this baby, then it's only by elimination do you come to the conclusion who put the baby there. At least that's how I worked it out and knew immediately the plot.

A new author for me but absolutely loved it read it in three days I just couldn’t put it down love fast paced books that keep u guessing will have to check out other books by this author

A good “holiday read”. Picks up halfway through and while it’s a bit predictable is nevertheless quite an entertaining read.

Stupid reviews -jaw dropping? No, but it’s ok enough and pretty well written. The ending was satisfying . So many authors have a great story line and then they don’t know how to do the ending. It has to be so challenging. Only a few know how to do this. Hey- just my musings, no reflection on this author.

This the first time I have read any book written by this author and now I can say that it definitely won't be the last one for me 😊I have thoroughly enjoyed reading it and had problem putting it down! It was an easy read with emotional touch. I would recommend this book to everyone who loves reading thriller!

No, it's NOT a "jawdropping twist." It's the SAME basic twist as 90 percent of psychological thrillers, just with some different details. So tired of reading this same twist over and over!
