That said, the biggest drawback is temperature. The coffee doesn’t come out piping hot—it’s more on the warm side, which takes away a bit from the espresso experience. You can work around this by preheating the cylinder with hot water before brewing, but even then, it’s not as hot as a traditional machine would make it. Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable, portable espresso option and don’t mind slightly cooler shots, the Minipresso GR2 is a smart buy. But if maximum heat is a must for you, you might want to look at pricier alternatives.

Wacaco Minipresso GR2 is an excellent choice for portability, esp when paired with the Minipresso GR2 Barista Pod tag along kit. Excellent Wacaco Minipresso, but I opted for the larger Nanopresso and Nanopresso Barista Companion Kit.

Bought this thinking it probably would not work. Unboxing and settling up were fiddley but ok . I was surprised to discover that it did produce espresso . Family also liked it and granddaughter so pleased that it went back to college with her. She uses it daily Product exceeded my expectations

I’m disappointed. The product itself seems good, but my order arrived without the funnel, and without it you can’t make good coffee. So I can’t even use it properly.

I don’t usually write reviews but for this Minispresso I had to. Works great! The instructions make it seem daunting but after the first few uses it gets easy and takes no time. It’s slightly messy when cleaning but makes a great espresso shot. For the price it’s small and durable

Es un excelente producto, se requiere un poco de práctica para usarlo. Yo le hecho agua caliente al tanque antes del primer proceso y la regreso para calentarla de nuevo porque la primera vez me salió tibio el café, de esa forma se calienta bien y sale mejor. No soy experto, para mí sabe delicioso. También depende, obvio, del café que uses y del molido del café, pero tomando en cuenta todo eso, es un excelente producto.
