Mini Brands Home capsule (2 Pack) by ZURU, Surprise Home with Collectible Minis, Blind Packaging, Home Themed Collectibles

I am an adult and I came across this brand last holiday season by accident. I love this concept! I am also a creative (multi-media art in this use case scenario) so not only do I enjoy opening these, I am creating unique pieces of mixed-media artwork that incorporates the contents of the capsules as the medium to convey messages about societal patterns and social issues. I would expound, but ultimately this product is a super fun toy for both kids and adults who enjoy miniatures! Each of the surprise balls in the home series comes with 5 packages inside, each containing a different “home” item. Most are branded and about half require assembly. Some of the neatest items are the ones that require a bit of assembly and contain some small pieces that makes these toys age inappropriate as a choking hazard for children who may ingest the small parts. Once assembled, they look pretty incredible for miniature items. Not a drawback for me, but the size alone makes me question if these would be a good fit for “play” vs. more of a collection item, and I would not personally purchase these for a child under 6-7 years old. Overall the details on the items, the experience of opening and assembling the contents, and the usefulness to me make these 2 packs a good value. I purchased 2 sets of 2, opened one: no dupes in those two balls in the same container. See pics.

These Mini Brands Home Capsules are absolutely adorable and make such a fun little surprise. The tiny household items are detailed, bright, and surprisingly well-made for how small they are. I love mini brands and have recently been collecting them to use as furniture and accessories for my Smiskis. The products are roughly 1:12 size, so perfect for small dolls such as Calico Critters or LPS as well. This product packaging is incredibly wasteful and has a lot of unnecessary trash involved. It does not seems sustainable, but it is fun to open. For each blind ball, you receive 5 small items in the series which are each packaged separately. They are incredibly detailed and high quality doll items that typically go for much more money. The value for the price is incredible for collectors. One downside to this is that you might get repeat objects. I got two duplicates when I ordered this of two separate items which was disappointing for sure. In addition, some of pieces are hard to build and do not seem sturdy, often falling over or coming apart with too much handling. These definitely aren’t for children or hard play. Overall, I am incredibly pleased with this item and is better than purchasing in store as it is cheaper.

these are super cute and work in my 1:12 scale dollhouse. One kit had a baking mixer and the other had a fishbowl with resin.

We just bought a couple of these at dollar general and they were 10 dollars a piece!!! These were amazing they came with really good items we are super satisfied
