Too expensive, but the ink is where HP makes their money. They could give away the printers!

Check the Contacts before Returning
The cartridge worked...only after scraping the four contacts at the bottom. When first installed, my printer would not recognize the cartridge as original. HP drives me crazy that way. However, after gently scraping off the four small contacts on the bottom of the cartridge and reinstalling, presto, the printer recognized the cartridge as HP original and it worked just great. It was close to being a return, thankfully a little cleaning got it to work.
