Samsung q60 43 inch. Seems good to me.
This TV was to replace an older Sony that had frozen up after becoming increasingly glitchy. I had been looking at TCL and hisence which were a bit cheaper, but the reviews seemed more mixed than gor this. Also it would arrive on a Saturday rather than a work day. Delivery was a bit of a game, but when isn't it?. Anyway, it duly arrived and was set up the next morning. It's a few years since I set up a TV, and things have come along. Very easy with a phone to set up Netflix etc. picture is great once all tha motion stuff is switched off. For me the eco option is actually best after light tinkering. Dark scenes will never be up to oled standards, but they are a whole lot better than previous TV. Sounds is thin but it's linked to a soundbase and a surround set up so not an issue. Operating system seems fine, pretty quick to connect and select apps. I've not used the second remote yet so can't comment on that. The main one is ok, maybe a little crammed making it very easy to hit the wrong button, but that seems to be a common complaint on many units. All in all I'm happy.

Great tv
Easy set up, great remote with one button access for Amazon Prime and Netflix, perfect clear picture and good price. Delivery on time too. We use a soundbar so can’t comment on the sound but connection to our existing Samsung soundbar was easy. Great value tv.

Quality
TV very easy to set up, when you first switch it on the screen takes you through the stages. As I didn't have a Samsung account I set this up on my tablet as the option was offered. Great picture and sound and Samsung tv app gives you a wide choice of programming. I had to look up online some help to get the ordinary tv through the aerial and did an auto scan through the settings. I'm not very experienced at technology but it was straightforward. So far I am delighted with this product. I have the 43 inch.

Good value tv
I like Samsung tv's and have had them for years. This budget tv replaces a Samsung tv that lasted 6 years before it failed. The picture is excellent, no complaints. A soundbar is needed though and together produce a very good viewing experience. Good value.

Usual high quality from Samsung
This is my second Samsung TV. As with my earlier 55” model, which is still working very well, this 43” one is equally impressive in terms of performance, both in picture quality and sound. Highly recommended. The only slight flaw in this 2024 model is that it is VERY tricky to insert the mains plug into the socket at the back of the TV.

Refresh rate is 50hz only but due its crisp picture ,you cannot tell
The to it’s absolute amazing, picture quality and design 10/10Electricity consumption it’s a bit high ,but nowadays, those tv’s are like mini computers,so I’m not surprised there .Really good sound for its size ,and comes with two remotes ,which is handy .Overall I’m very happy with this product specially if you get it on Black Friday deal ,it’s worth every penny .

2024 Q60D , TV Only , 43 inches
Had to buy an emergency TV as my old JVC broke a few days ago. Luckily the purchase coincided with Prime Day discounts! So the delivery went smooth - driver kindly brought into straight into my living room.Set up was smooth - I just followed step by step and everything clicked into place! I’ve hooked up my Humax box which I have for recording, but everything I need is on the TV so I’ll probably only switch to Humax for my recordings. I haven’t fiddled with any of the settings (brightness etc) as I haven’t felt the need to so far.My only gripe with this is I wish it had a centre stand rather than legs as I have to have it at an angle on my sideboard so I’m worried the feet are a little over the edge. I will be getting a piece of wood to stand it on soon.Sorry I can’t give any technical reviews as I haven’t a clue! All I know is it arrived in perfect condition - I can see and hear it clearly and it was really easy to set up. So just the legs were the problem - but 99% of the tv’s I read up on had this. The only models that had a centre stand didn’t have good reviews so I opted for this model. Oh and I would have preferred a slightly larger remote with the menu up down left and right to be more in the middle. I will get used to it in time though. Just thought of another thing - the screen is quite shiny and I think my old telly was more Matt- so I can see reflections when I’m watching the film. I have removed the screen protector which it said in the instructions. So after only a couple of hours use I would say I’m happy with the purchase.

What you need to know before you buy this .Its not bad but...
I own a 10 year old Samsung and decided to upgrade ,I do not hate this new TV but there are issues whichyou should know about . If id given it 3 stars no one one would read the review .1. There is a comprehensive manual online but its 246 pages long... but no printed version in the box . The quick start guide is worthless so its down to you to work out what the menus contain without the manual.2. The Help screen available from within the setting menu is patronizing and worthless.'i know how to change the channel on the remote'!!!3. If you use use your existing TV as an alarm clock to come on at a specific time in the morning This will not work for you this does not have this feature .( See my edit below it can be done via the smartthings app if you have your phone on the same wifi signal as your TV BUT it does not allow you to chose what channel it comes on with ) There is a sleep time 30min 60min etc and a a turn off at a specific time that's it .For some this may be a showstopper.4. You cannot edit the channel numbers eg If you want say Blaze on channel 64 to be on channel 1 you cannot do that on this model. You do have 5 favourites where you can add channels but that not what i did on my last TV is simply deleted channels i ahd no interest in and rearranged the numbers of the one i wanted . You can delete channels on this set .5.There is no headphone out socket should you want to run a leaded set of 2.1 speakers .6. Addition speaker/soundbar is connected by Bluetooth which actually worked faultlessly and after a long search you will find a menu setting to allow both these and the TV speaker to operate together but you'll get a latency lag between them so I would nt bother use a soundbar or the tv not both .7. Set up is over complicated . If you want to detect all free view channels and who wouldnt right .... DO NOT select a service provider when asked , theres an option of 'my service provider is not listed' .. half the freeview channels i watch were missing if i selected a provider.8. If you want an amazon fire stick in one of the HDMI sockets you'll need an HDMI extension that comes with the firestick because the fire stick is too thick for direct HDMI connection9 TV is very thin and on a wall mount that makes getting to the sockets for hdmi usb and aerial a pain , buy a small mirror ....10. the sockets are on the right side of the screen , that may be a deal breaker to some people .11. Samsung want you sign up to their service to get the samsung tv which gives about 499 other channels so thats another company collecting your data .12. see edit below13. Its far too easy to press the netflix, prime video or rakuten ( whatever that is) buttons as the remote is small and those buttons are are around the direction button arrows. My 10 year old existing samsung controller works for ll the common things youd need so do nt throw that away .14. The setting menu is rather basic compared with my older set which had a diagnostic mode which saved the day a couple of times. The good1.Pictures fine2.tv sound is ok3. price was ok4. you can record programs to a usb stick or drive but do not get excited that they are MP4 and you can transfer them they are not they are in an encrypted format that can only be decrypted and viewed from the TV .This is actually brilliant .5. you get a second smaller quick remote which is solar powered or usb charged which is 90% of what youll need on a daily basis .Happy to take questions*******EDIT*********You can get this TV to turn on at a specific time via the Smartthings App . However it is not obvious . You need to initially there is only a switch off option however you can create a number of new schedules and then the turn on option is available BUT it just turns the TV on and in my experience always comes on to BBC1 similarity you can set an off time by the same method within the same new schedule
