Microsoft Surface Pro Keyboard with Slim Pen | Black | Compatible with Surface Pro Copilot +, Surface Pro 9, or Surface Pro 8

Excellent quality and pretty good value at the discounted price. Keyboard feels reassuringly sturdy for a detachable device and keys have just the right amount of travel. Trackpad is responsive and an appropriate size for this sort of thing; I've never understood the supposed need for a huge trackpad. Slight issue with the pen (although this may be the way I hold it) is that the "select" button is too easy to press accidentally and it doesn't feel as robust as previous Surface pens, but on the plus side, it can be stored in the keyboard recess and has a rechargeable battery, so no need for a stash of AAAA batteries specifically for that purpose.

Great keyboard trackpad combo. It would be nice if the trackpad was about 20% bigger. And if the function keys followed international standards. but still great. A bit expensive for what it is though.

As good as expected

This keyboard mates magnetically with the Surface Pro 12 tablet. It then draws power from the tablet so there is no need to charge it before use. Typing on it is smooth and the tracker pad works very well. The pen is useful if you do any drawing on the tablet and there is a feature that allows the machine to convert handwritten text and insert the notes into Word. Once again, the pen mates magnetically with the back of the keyboard and draws its charge from the tablet when so docked.

J’ai acheté ce clavier pour ma Microsoft Surface Pro 11 tombée en panne. Commandé sur Amazon, il a été reçu relativement rapidement. Attention toutefois : bien qu’il s’agisse d’un produit Microsoft d’origine, le clavier est en version QWERTY. La problématique rencontrée est qu’il est impossible de trouver des touches de remplacement correspondant à un clavier français. J’ai donc dû acheter, en complément, des autocollants de touches de la marque Lacerto. C’est malgré tout un peu dommage pour un clavier neuf à 222 €, de ne pas pouvoir l’utiliser directement dans une configuration française adaptée.
