This product comes highly recommended!
I don’t know the exact date I bought mine, but have had it for a while, and I use it on almost a daily basis. I couldn’t tell you how many times (individually trigger squeeze) I’ve used it but it’s been a lot! I’ve not had to replace a battery and it works great with other systems to include other brand laser targets. (electronic, and paper) It also registers on competitor software for simulation and drills. My personal opinion, I would consider this to be a must have training tool/accessory. For the price, functionality, durability, and design, you’d be a fool not to have it.

Nice idea if you have ths space to keep it setup all the time.
Works fine. But, having a small dwelling I have to setup and take down the target, stand, app, and so on everytime and it is a pain. So, I do no use it a much as I would like.

Makes practicing at home much more convenient.
This is a great practice tool for the home use. I used this to teach my family and friends about gun safety at home without the hassle of going to a range. It was less intimidating for them to fire than a real firearm but it's not a foam dart toy either so it strikes a good balance of realism and approachability. It's been a great tool for teaching others about firearm safety and shooting form. Others aside, I find it's easy to use, convenient, and safe around home so it lets me get in more practice even when I don't have time to go to the range. First thing I noticed is that it comes in a nice rigid fabric case with a soft material liner which is better than in the product images. It's similar in size to my daily carry firearm but is a bit lighter as to be expected, weighing in at 10.5oz. When I pull the trigger, there's a loud click, the laser comes on for a fraction of a second as a pulse so it does not function like a laser pointer. Out of the box, it was accurate even from a 15ft long hallway in my home, but adjustments are easy enough to make if you need to. After I replaced the battery, I did need to adjust the laser position (it was off by like an inch) using the hex. The case has a slot for the hex tool so you don't lose it (but is easy to source a replacement). That same tool can be used to change the batteries or adjust the trigger weight/ click noise so it's really easy to maintain. There's an optional holster you can buy for it, it does fit this model perfectly as to be expected and it does work with the Strikeman app which makes it feel like a complete package. Overall, it was a good purchase and I recommend it.

Does not fire a pulse like others. Not good for laser targets.
It is not clear in the description that when you pull the trigger, the laser stays on until you release it. I have a couple Laserlyte targets and 2 that I bought on Amazon. The target will register a hit if you pull the trigger and the laser moves past the target before you release the trigger. It is like waving a laser pointer past the target. Other models like the cheaper Laserlyte shoot a pulse when you pull the trigger. I ended up sending the SIRT back.

New is not always better
Not a goodbye at all compared to the old CERT, which was all metal. This gun is light, small, does not have a removable magazine, and it’s not cut for a red dot all in all a very disappointing purchase. I’ll stick to my old CERT, which is heavy and has a removable magazine to practice reloads.
