Works great!
Good price and features. Easy installation, started working immediately and dropped humidity levels quickly. Quiet, automatically stops when it reaches 40% humidity and restarts when it increases. Great unit!

Excellent Product, Money well spent.
Excellent, efficient product. Great size, low noise level, excellent portability because it has wheels, it quickly reduces moisture content and humidity. I am surprised by the amount of moisture that it removes. I am very happy that I bought it. I now have one at work and one at home.

Fantastic unit, working great in my apartment.
Los Angeles has become extremely humid over the last several years, with overnight humidity averaging 80-90% most of the time now. My apartment building likes to suck up this humidity and dump it into my living space. I kept waking up covered in sweat even when it was cold, all my clothes and towels are always damp, and bits of metal thru my place have actually started to rust from it being so humid all the time. I decided to do something about it, and based on all the reviews, went with this unit. I'm a week in, and it's working like an absolute champion. I initially ran it on high for 24 hours, but now I just move it around and run it in each room for just a couple hours at a time. The average humidity is down over 20%, and it has mostly stayed that way. It appears to have sucked up the humidity from my carpet, curtains, clothes, and even my doors that swell up from humidity are closing like normal, which I didn't expect. It rained the other day and I left the door open to get some fresh air, which of course raised the humidity inside. But running this for an hour pulled it back down to 40%. It's super simple to use, plug-in and go. And dumping the water bucket is extremely easy. The wheels make it easy to move, the form factor is small enough and good-looking enough to not be an eye sore. My only qualm is that somehow the unit is louder on LOW than HIGH because the compressor kicks into this loud whine. But that's OK because I just run it on high for a couple hours here and there in whatever room I'm not in. If this thing stands the test of time it will be a 10/10 purchase. The entire planet is becoming more humid, so devices like this are sadly a modern necessity.

Good but not as quiet as I hoped
It's good, but not as quiet as I hoped - I am admittedly sensitive to noise but there's no way I can sleep with that in my bedroom. I moved it to a nearby room and it's doing a decent job - I have it set to 40% humidity in that other room and it's keeping the humidity in my bedroom at a little under 50% as long as all the doors in between are open. I don't believe the 4500 sq. foot setting - my house is a lot smaller than 4500 sq feet and it's only barely getting it to the range I want in other rooms, but it is succeeding at the basic task I'm asking it to do. It also likes to beep too much - e.g. if you set it to sleep mode it will beep to tell you you change the mode. Or if you turn off the power button and then take out the tank to empty it, then it will beep to tell you the tank is open, even though you've turned it off. But on the plus side it's easy to use, it's easy to roll around if you want, the tank is big enough that I'm doing fine emptying it once a day. So I'm happy with my purchase overall.

This one's a keeper.
I've had it a couple of days now. It seems to be doing a good job. But it's September and it's not as humid as it has been. The company is the best. They've extensively assured me how they stand behind their products. One thing I've found I really like about this dehumidifier is the water bucket. It seems to be more solid than others I've tried and the handle on it feels solid, not going to break under the weight of the water. The plastic doesn't feel as though it's going to crush or break. Im still trying to learn the panel, what to press, when and why and what I want the dehumidifier to do. It collects a lot of water and shuts off when full. Well, I trust it will shut off, I noticed the water line at top I guess just before it shut off and emptied the bucket. The FC lights up when the bucket is removed whether it's full or not. That's the reminder light to empty it. The wheels on the bottom are actually a smaller size than they should be and it doesn't roll on carpet that well. But it does roll. It is extremely quiet 🤫 hardly can hear it running. Even high fan is almost as quiet as the low. It seems fairly easy to run though I don't know a lot about running it yet. It doesn't seem to have a problem keeping the humidity at a certain number. The compressor shuts off when it reaches that number and only comes on again if the humidity changes. One of the main things I wanted to try this size is I wanted it to pull humidity from other rooms. Mainly my bedroom which is next to the living room. This one is doing that. That's what I wanted. It's running smoothly, quietly, pulling water out of the air, and using less energy because it's Energy Star. What more could you ask for? UPDATE! (November) I'm still am glad I decided to try this one. It's still going strong. It's a very good machine! Still quite. Emptying the bucket about every 12 hours. My home is about 1200 sq.ft. my whole house has healthy humidity. And I see right now there is a bigger sale on it.

You can stop comparison shopping. This is the model you want.
I bought the AEOCKY 52 Pint per day Smart Compressor Dehumidifier to replace a GE-branded workhorse that has been plugging along in my basement for years. In point of fact, I always run two dehumidifiers in my partially finished basement - one on the finished side and one on the unfinished / laundry room side. For the past 8-10 years, I've had GEs in both rooms. Prior to that, I had Frigidaires (twice, with each pair providing trouble-free service). The big name brands have served me well. They have all lasted 8-10 years and have required only intermittent filter cleaning to keep them humming along mostly problem-free. So, when one of my current GE models died, I can honestly say that I was reluctant to replace it with anything but a name-brand appliance. After all, the big names have been kind to me. But, after HOURS of comparative research, I decided to take a chance on this model from AEOCKY. I am more than impressed with the performance of this dehumidifier. Historically, with each of my name-brand models, I could not set the machine below 55% humidity. To do so was the equivalent of turning the devices onto continuous operation - they never shut off. But 55% was the sweet spot - across two brands and three different models, this fact held true - the humidity level dropped to tolerable and the appliances ran about 40% of the day. Enter the AEOCKY... When I first plugged it in, the humidity sensor reported that the finished side of my basement had a balmy 73% humidity level. Within minutes, that percentage began dropping. After it had fallen 10% in 20 minutes, I opened the collection bin to examine the moisture collection because I couldn't believe what the machine was reporting. But the bin was BONE DRY?!? Perhaps I was running into the problem that some of the other reviewers complained of - the less-than-accurate humidity sensor? But, a few hours later, the reported humidity level had settled into the mid 50s and the bin had a moderate amount of water (which I dumped). Overnight, the bin again collected a reasonable amount of water (though it did not collect enough to initiate an auto shut-off). i believe (though I cannot definitively recall) that I had set the humidity level to the standard 55% at this time. So, I decided to play with the settings a bit. I tried 50%. It got there. AND IT SHUT OFF. Not for long, but it shut off. I tried 45%. Same results. So, I tried the "automatic" setting (I believe it maintains a humidity between 45% - 55%). AMAZING! Zero need to mess with this thing. The room is obviously less humid and more comfortable. Once I got the AEOCKY dialed in, I connected the included drain line to circumvent the need to dump the bucket. Once i got the discharge angle of the tubing figured out, I used the included adapter to mate the provided hose to a PVC line that drains directly into my sump basin (requiring only a $2.17 investment from the local big-box hardware store). Done and done. The room feels better than it ever has. The humidity stays roughly between 48% - 53% on "auto." AND DID I MENTION HOW QUIET THIS THING IS? Nothing is as important as having the appliance WORK. But, now that I am confident that it works as advertised, I can appreciate how QUIETLY it does its job. The finished side of the basement is where laundry gets sorted and folded while music plays on the entertainment system. When my grandkids are over, this is the place where my grandson and I play video games (and talk a HEALTHY amount of trash over games of NCAA 25). The previous dehumidifier was disruptively loud. The AEOCKY is quieter with its compressor running than any of the fans from the previous models I had in this location, let alone their compressors. Color me impressed. Like, impressed enough to sit down and write this. I don't review a lot of items. And I KNOW that most people who take the time to review things had BAD experiences with their purchases. For me, this purchase experience has been so overwhelmingly positive that I felt the need to share. If you're on the fence about this model, don't be. It is a top performer. I have nothing bad to say about the GE or the Frigidaires that occupied my basement space before. But when my other GE kicks, I'm replacing it with another AEOCKY.

Great customer service and well made product
The first unit I ordered was delivered on its side and repacked in a larger Amazon box with no additional packing. The OEM box is clearly labeled with this side up, fragile, etc. The packaging seemed good and there is a sticker on the unit that says if the unit was delivered on its side to upright and let stand for 6 hours before powering on and using. I did that but the unit was pretty loud. Compressor and vibration noises. I contacted the company and they responded right away. They had me check a couple things then quickly sent a replacement. The replacement delivered by Amazon arrived upside down this time... I let the unit sit upright for about 8 hours before powering up again. Luckily, this one works great. It's really quiet and does an awesome job in my basement maintaining the humidity. I have a large basement that had a mold remediation done recently. The basement has an unfinished utility room with a crawl space and a finished side that includes a bathroom and bar. I like to move the unit between the bar area and the unfinished side occasionally. The caster wheels don't roll over the carpet very well, but it's easy enough to pick it up and carry. The tank is easy to remove and has a nice handle on it. The controls are easy to use. It looks and feels well built! The humidity sensor seems to be pretty accurate and matches up well with my separate Wifi humidity sensors that I have put in the basement. I've been using the unit for a couple of weeks and would recommend it to anyone. Their customer service was awesome too!

Good dehumidifiers
I use these daily. They collect a LOT of water and my house's smart thermostat displays the fact that they're working well to keep humidity at optimal levels. CO mode really gets the humidity down quickly, Night mode works nearly as fast but much quieter, and there's a third mode that will turn on and off to keep a specific level - perfect for when you don't want the machine continuously running. I have had three machines in total, one of them was glitching a bit and after reaching out to the company they quickly worked with me to figure out the problem and ultimately sent me a free replacement. Very happy this is the company I chose. I've been using these machines since the end of 2024, it is currently May '26.

Fast, responsive dehumidifier that works efficiently in smaller spaces
This unit performed well in a controlled test using a basement shower with the exhaust fan off. It is not peak dehumidifier season, but this setup provided a good way to evaluate responsiveness and moisture removal. Setup was straightforward. The included drain hose connected easily, and the threaded adapter made it simple to integrate with a standard garden hose setup used for draining an AC unit. That flexibility is a practical advantage. The built-in humidistat tracked closely with a separate hygrometer, but reacted faster to changes. With the setpoint at 50 percent, the unit engaged promptly once humidity rose above that level. During a 10 minute hot shower, humidity climbed to around 80 percent. Once the unit was running, it reduced humidity steadily at roughly one percent every 15 seconds. The clear drain tube made it easy to confirm that moisture was actively being removed. When the bathroom door was opened, cooler and drier basement air rapidly dropped humidity to around 40 percent. The unit shut off at 48 percent and did not cycle back on unnecessarily, which suggests efficient control logic and no excessive power use. A few practical observations: • Accurate and fast-responding humidistat • Effective moisture removal in room-sized spaces • Quiet operation, slightly above low shower noise • Smooth cycling without abrupt starts • Easy drain hose integration This is a smaller unit, so it is best suited for individual rooms rather than large open basements. Within that scope, it performs well. Overall, it is effective, relatively quiet, and responsive. It removes moisture quickly and avoids unnecessary cycling, making it a solid option for targeted humidity control.

Very Functional Design
AEOCKY Smart Compressor Dehumidifier with Drain Hose, for Basement, Bedroom, Bathroom, Intelligent Humidistat, Quiet. It has a brightness setting that can be turned up, down or off. It has two settings for the fan high and low, the fan is fairly quiet on low a bit noisier on the high speed. It has a built in timer that could be set for up to 24 hours for those who wish to have it off during sleeping hours. It has a lock button so that once you have all your desired settings correct you can lock it so that it can't be accidentally changed, to engage and release the lock button simply hold the button down for for about three seconds. The Aeocky dehumidifier has a built in humidistat that indicates what your humidity level is at and then you can set it to your prefered level and it automatically starts working when the humidity level is above the set level. It has a water basket in the front that simply slides open to remove the collected water and automatically turns off when the basket is full, it also has a little glass indicator in front so that you're able to see the water levels anytime. If you can place it near a floor drain it also has an attachable hose on the back that allows you to put it directly into the drain so that you never have to empty the tank basket. This machine will definitely make a difference especially in basements for those humid summer days. I would recommend this unit.

Excellent little unit!! 💨 No more moisture!
I picked this dehumidifier to deal with persistent dampness in my basement, and it has exceeded my expectations. The setup was simple…plug it in, choose a mode, and it gets to work immediately. The digital display is bright and easy to read, you can adjust the light of the buttons or turn off display completely if using in a bedroom…shows real‑time humidity levels. Auto mode keeps the space at a steady 50% or preferred setting without any effort on my part, and the sleep mode is impressively quiet. The water tank slides out smoothly, and the full‑tank alert works exactly as described. I also appreciate the option to use a drainage hose for continuous operation. (Not tried this option yet) After a few days of use, the basement smells cleaner, feels drier, and the overall air quality is noticeably better. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with basement moisture. It’s light and has wheels if you wish to easily move from room to room. It’s nice looking to! 🙂
