Great at first – completely failed after a month
Update after one month of use: At first, everything seemed great, but the performance dropped quickly. The sound started to fade, and now one earbud is completely dead – no sound at all. The other one works only partially. Battery life also got significantly worse. These are honestly the only headphones I’ve ever had that broke down this badly and this fast. Definitely not recommended. To make matters worse, Anker’s customer support is completely unresponsive. They clearly don’t care that their product failed so quickly. For a company with such a strong reputation, it’s honestly shameful to sell something this unreliable. It was nice – but only for a moment. Original review below: These headphones are truly outstanding in every aspect. The bass is deep and powerful, the volume is excellent, and the call quality is crystal clear. Everything works exactly as it should, and honestly, it doesn’t make sense to spend more money on pricier options because these deliver incredible performance. They might just be the best headphones I’ve ever owned, and the price is surprisingly affordable. Totally worth it – highly recommended!

Great.
These are pretty great for the price. Both the charging case and the earphones themselves are well made, they're comfortable to wear (I really like that they don't use silicone tips) and easy enough to use. The only bad thing I can say is that, like most modern earphones, they're far too bass-heavy for my liking. Most styles of music don't benefit from a bass boost, and it seems the common opinion on earbuds WITHOUT bass boosting is that they sound tinny - both baffling and a bit frustrating but not really the fault of the manufacturer. The sound is generally clear but I find I have to use the "piano" EQ setting to stop much of my library sounding muddy, and overwhelmed by both the bass guitar and kick drums thanks to this modern obsession with bass boosting.

Best budget earphones
I bought these (twice) back in September 2024 (at the time of writing this review, that was 8 months ago) and I wanted to give them a lot of use before reviewing them. So, to explain why I bought them twice. I lost the case to the first pair while I was cycling - completely my fault as I forgot to zip up the pocket it was in and didn't realise until I got home. However, while I had this one (I believe around a month at that point), they were excellent. No problems whatsoever. The earphones also work perfectly fine with the case I bought for the second pair. I have used the second pair almost every single day over the past 8 months. The sound is still great, the case and earphones are in perfect condition, I've never experienced any connection issues, and the earphones hold the charge for a long time (I probably charge them once a week, I haven't kept track but it really isn't a regular thing). I don't find them to be too quiet, if anything, they can be quite loud when I'm listening to music while not doing anything else; if I'm cycling, they're loud enough. I haven't messed with the settings at all, that's how they came out of the box, so I can't comment on the app and the settings. I like the touch features and regularly use them to skip songs without having to touch my phone. They're easy to set up and to use. I bought them for £19.99, which I would say is incredibly cheap for how good they feel and sound. They're very light, so they're comfortable BUT I have had them fall out a couple of times - usually when I'm moving around a lot or when I'm putting something on my head (like my cycling helmet). I haven't had them fall out while I'm cycling, but I do put my helmet on in a way where my hair covers my ears a bit, so that probably helps keep them in. I have very small ears (I'm a 5'2"ish woman for reference) but find them very comfortable, which is rare for earphones because most are too big or are just uncomfortable. I've actually fallen asleep with them in more than once. I don't think these earphones will work well for those that love super heavy bass in their music BUT you can definitely get a decent bassy sound from them (I predominantly listen to metalcore, and some artists use EDM/dubstep in their songs, and I like what I hear still). They're definitely not tinny or hollow sounding. If you're looking for budget earphones that still sound good, I would highly recommend these! Edit: Just to add a little more information, I haven't tried these during a call, so I can't comment on the quality there. I have used these during rainy weather and I've not run into any issues. The touch sensitivity is a little off when your fingers are wet, but it's not a problem in my opinion.

Trash tier product
Probably the single worst product I have ever bought from a "reputable" company that I can remember. When new these had decent sound, but were quiet, although didn't have the super annoying auto-pause when an earbud is removed, and the touch button customisation via the app was persistent (unlike other brands) so only had to do it once. However after 3 months they were distorted and practically inaudible. After contacting customer support they told me to clean the speaker filter with alcohol, which restored them at first. Except it had very quickly diminishing returns. By month 6 the left bud is unblockable and practically inaudible. Since month 3 I have not had a consistent pair of earbuds where both were at full volume for any meaningful amount of time. Cleaning has to be done every few days and only sometimes works for one of them. I have NEVER had this issue with other earbuds. This is some actual trash tier design from a supposedly reputable company. Effectively these cost £100/per year rather than £25 for an expected 3 year lifetime. I deeply regret buying this product. Now imaging the last sentence with expletives and you will begin to mine the surface of how I feel trying to play some *expletive* audio.

Good quality, decent sound but doesn't hold a good fit in my ears.
My quest for the ultimate out of the box wireless earbuds continues. I bought these as they seemed a good price and I wanted to try the apple airpod style fit. They are certainly lightweight and comfortable to wear with reasonably good sound but I found myself constantly having to push them in to get a better seal. I tried running in them but found the ambient noise drowns out the music/voice due to the bad seal. This may well just be the shape of my ears though but I guess I have to keep up my quest. So far the best wireless buds I have are the Tonemac N18 but these are neckband style and I'm using some alternative tips in them to get the perfect seal. Edit: I realise now these are "semi-in-ear" style so that may account for the looser fit.

Plenty of bass and more than loud enough.
So, these were a surprise! I've been looking for a set of open ear buds that have a decent amount of bass. Because of this I own 5 pairs. These are by far the best of the lot. Good sound staging and they do in fact have a really good amount of bass. It's pleasing, it's actually pretty thumping which is nice. They do need to be eq'd though to get the best out of them. For the record, rugged other own ear buds I own are, Baseus E16's, Realfit F2 Pro's and Tribit Flybit C2's. All of which have roughly the same amount of bass. By way of comparison, The Soundcore K20's have roughly twice to the times the amount, which is more than enough. They're also plenty loud enough. By far the best set I own. They're are 3 things though that could be better or irritate me a little. Firstly, there the earning appear to have a limiter that sticks when the bass is up high. It would be nice to be able to disable it. Another minor niggle would that it doesn't support multi point connections. It would be a nice to have, but it's not a deal breaker. Thirdly, and this is with the app, what would be cool is if your could increase the graphic equaliser to have at least 20 bands. Then the equaliser then becomes a mini mixing desk where toy can cut or boost the frequencies where the vocals and instrument lie. That would be very cool.

Great for the price
I have purchased Anker/Soundcore products for many years and have been happy with the build quality. I did not think these would be up to much as they were so cheap and there were mixed reviews but happily surprised. They come in a little charging pod like most earbuds and charge relatively quickly. There is no charge indicator other than different flashing lights. They last easily a day out of the unit and the unit itself only needs charging every few weeks if using for a few hours each day. The sound quality is better than most headphones I have used at this size, but lacking bass compared to my over ear sets. They can be used to set custom EQ using the Soundcore app. I choose these as the in ear canal type are not suitable or comfortable for me. These were comfortable straight away and are still comfortable when lying down in bed. People have mentioned that after a couple of months one side has stopped working - I have noticed when they are low battery that without warning one side will switch off but they are fine again once charged. Overall very happy with these.

A very good value product
This is my first pair of bluetooth earbuds. I bought them to use with my phone, to replace some wired heaphones, and chose them because they don't need to be inserted *in* to the ear canal, something which I find uncomfortable. What impresses me most about them is that they are *good enough* in every way, neither exceptional nor disappointing. On the whole, build quality doesn't feel super premium, but it doesn't feel cheap either. The sound quality isn't exceptional but, with a few tweaks to the EQ in the app, they're an enjoyable listen. They fit comfortably in my ears and don't fall out, the battery life is fine and the storage/charging case works well. The app is basic but does the job. The earbuds remember your settings once you've set them, and you can disable the touch controls if they annoy you - I did. I can see that some reviews complain that they don't go loud enough. In my experience, coming from wired headphones, this is usually only an issue with older (quieter) recordings and it's no worse a problem now than it was before. I've been using these daily for a month now and I'm very happy. UPDATE In a recent software update, it appears that the manufacturer has tried to address the low volume complaints some users have made. If you haven't used the EQ function to boost any frequencies, they do play slightly louder. Unfortunately, if you've boosted the low frequencies (like I have), when you turn the volume up too far in some songs, the sound 'ducks', which can be annoying. You can solve this by simply turning the volume down slightly, but they've introduced a new problem while trying to solve something which wasn't necessarily a problem to begin with! It's a bit of a shame. However, even with that slight drawback, I'd still recommend these earbuds. They're excellent value and I use them most days.
