Not very sturdy.
I bought this as a gift for a 10 year old boy. The plastic on the orb was thin and would not survive a few drops or crashes into walls that would likely happen during play. I returned it.

Such a fun toy for many ages!
We now have two of these and my kids love them! They are 3, 5, and 7 and all love playing with it together. It comes with a cord to charge it. Definitely recommend! Giving these out as cousin gifts for Christmas!
