The LED panel is approximately the size of a modern 14"/15" laptop and has a solid, substantial build. The included stand with a ball head is sturdy and provides good support, as long as it is clamped onto a stable surface or table. The power supply unit is somewhat bulky, reminiscent of older laptop chargers, but functions reliably and barely gets warm. The panel itself is impressively bright and can be controlled via Bluetooth and 2.4G WiFi for quick adjustments. In my setup, I typically use only 30-50% brightness, and even with prolonged use, the panel remains just slightly warm. Thanks to its relatively bigger size, the panel delivers a good even light output, similar to using a softbox. Overall, it’s a good quality (non-professional) lighting solution that is versatile at a very reasonable price.

Setting up for video/YouTube in a very limited space, note that the handle for the table/desk grip can disengage, turn freely and then re-engaged with a ratchet so that the clamps can be tightened and loosened in restricted spaces. Nice.The lights themselves are solid and colour match well. Note these are bi-colour, not RGB. They are plenty bright - it would be nice if Neewer gave the brightness in Lumen but I think the conversion from cd/m^2 gave me ~2300 lumen. (Don't rely on my math though!)The ball joints are solid and move smoothly once released, and have 1/4 inch threads in a larger screw insert, so they can also be attached to other items (such as the multi-armed camera desk mount I also have).One minor issue is with the software on Windows. I couldn't get the lights to connect to my home wifi*, so ended up using the 2.4G dongle, which works but shouldn't be necessary (my default connection was being broken and auto-reconnecting crazily while the software tried to connect to the lamps; I tried both my 2.4 and 5Ghz SSIDs to no avail). Saved settings work a bit strangely, but you get used to it. The Android app & Bluetooth control also work fine.They're good.

The Only reason I've given it a 4 star, simply because it it was small than I wanted it to be. There wasn't a larger size at the time I bought it

The light is easy to put up and the stand has a strong and sturdy feel to it. The light has great connectivity features and an excellent phone app to controll the light fuctions via bluetooth, 2.4ghz dongle or wifi. The only downside for me is the pc app sometimes wont open even after i close it in task manager, but overall it is a great product.

I’m returning this because it failed on set up. It wasn’t hot & it wasn’t a network issue (I hadn’t connected it). I was adding this to my work studio and I can’t afford equipment failures which can distract my audience on business calls / courses. This is a nice looking piece of kit and seemed to do what it claimed to, but I need as close to rock solid reliability as I can get and unfortunately this didn’t offer it. Same happened with a monitor today - failed on first use but because it has an excellent reputation I will replace it and return the failed unit but the subject of this review (the light) isn’t a “must have” and I will look for an alternative.

These are actually really good. I had a bit of issue getting them contacted with the computer and the software could do with a bit of an update, as some buttons do not work all the time. However, all in all, very happy with them. They are bright though even at 1% brightness.
