Recommended I try this, and it worked!
I burnt some stew spillover on my apt. glass-top stove a few weeks ago (and TBH have had a few boil-over incidents before that as well), but even after scrubbing at the burnt stains a good bit, there was what looked like this dark grey carbon stuck in the glass (see photo), which I know was most likely because I didn’t clean up the spill right away due to the burner being too hot.I asked my mom how I could remove the burnt stuff, and she had recommended I try Bar keepers friend and told me to very carefully scrape it up with a razor blade.I didn’t have any razor blades and also was kinda worried I would mess it up and damage the stove or labeling around the burners so I didn’t try it at first.I got a chance to test out and review this Bar keeper’s friend kit and saw that it came with a scraper, so I ordered it and decided to give it a try.I really like that they include a scraper and it’s a PLASTIC razor blade like scraper, which I felt much more comfortable using instead of the metal ones.Needless to say, she was right and it worked, and the stove literally looks (almost) back to new now.I used a non-scratch sponge to apply some and then just let it sit for a few minutes like the bottle says. I used the scraper and scrubbed over it and then scrubbed with the sponge a little more. Then I wiped it off and it had honestly removed all of the deeper carbon gunk somehow, and without damaging any of the burner labeling or hurting the surface.I do love that the kit came with everything I needed and that it provides enough spare plastic scraper blades to last me a while.I am very glad I got to try this out and I can vouch it works for sure.If anyone with a glass cooktop has gotten the carbon silver stuff stuck in the glass like I had, this stove top cleaner is definitely worth trying or any of their kits that comes with the plastic razor scrapers.

better than expected but still took me a lot of work
My household uses powdered Bar Keeper's Friend regularly and we have not tried a liquid version for many years, so I thought I would try this cooktop version. I found it interesting following the instructions that the cooktop surface is supposed to be wet and that you are supposed to be able to just wipe the dirt and grease off with the included scraper. My experience was that I had to scrape at the dirt and grease more vigorously in order to get this product to work. The liquid went onto the cook top white and then it turned chocolate milk colored as I scraped at the grease and burnt marks. This worked better than I expected but it still took me approximately an hour to clean my really dirty cooktop and I still have some crusty rings on my cooktop. I think I will want to go over the area with some powdered cleanser next time I take time I plan to clean. If my cooktop was not so dirty, I think this product would have been good at maintaining a clean and shiny surface. Note that this product pack comes with a nice little hard edge scraper (not sharp) and it has extra scrapers in the pack. I think a scraper like this is pretty essential for this product.

Sparkling clean stovetops
As Bar Keepers Friend is a reputable brand with products that work, this is no different. The cooktop cleaner is designed for glass ceramic cooking stovetops but works well on other materials such as stainless steel and sinks/tubs/tiles made of porcelain. It works really well for removing tough grease and stuck on food on stovetops. I have also tried using it to scrub my glass bathtub door and it has worked exceptionally well for removing stubborn hard water stains. For more stuck on hard water, I let the cleaner soak for around 5 minutes before I rub in the cleaner with a towel. Rubbing in the cleaner is an essential step as it helps it exfoliate a bit more before rinsing off the cleaner.

Great Kit with Scraper and Replacement Blades
Great for cleaning induction stoves, probably a must have item. I use the scraper only gently just to be extra careful, but it's fairly safe and not too sharp, it will not break skin. Love that you get 4 replacement blades as well (5 total).

Haven’t tried it yet.
I was unhappy when I received my items. The blue cap on one of the items was broken off good thing that there’s a seal on the bottle of the cleaner and I don’t think anything leak out. I was so excited when it arrived I hope it works.

Solid cleanser from a trusted brand.
I heard about Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser a couple years ago, and have been using it ever since. It gets our stainless steel sink cleaner than anything else I’ve used. Such a solid product. We have a couple glass-top stoves that are a pain to get clean. It’s ironic because they look like they’d be easier to clean than the old type with coil burners, but they show every little smudge and the buildup that bakes on the surface. So when I saw this pack of Bar Keepers Friend Cooktop Cleaner (2 x13 oz) + Scraper, I ordered it right away. The cleanser is just as good as I’d hoped, and got it looking shiny and reflective. Be sure to shake it well, then squirt it on directly, or on a damp sponge, and scrub. The plastic scraper is a cute idea, but for really baked on stains, it doesn’t work as well as a single-edged razor blade, which is still my tool of choice. But the cleanser itself is terrific and will be our go-to cooktop cleaner from now on.

good cleaner
one of the better cleaners i've used. the scraper is helpful. still takes a bit of work, but not nearly as much as it takes with some other cleaners. used mainly on my glasstop stove, sink, and counters.

Absolutely amazing
I thought my stove was clean but then I used this cleaner on it. I definitely didn’t know what clean was until I used this. It cut through freeze stains that I didn’t even know where there still. My stove top is glistening! I am so impressed with this cleaner. I love bar keepers friend for my pots and pans, but this is beyond my expectations! It has a light fragrance to it. A fresh smell really, not chemically. The consistency is good and I think that one bottle will last for many cleanings. The two bottles makes this a great value.I didn’t try the scraper, I just used paper towels. The cleaner itself is worth it!
