Journey Upright Walker Premium Light
I am very happy with this walker. I researched and then returned two walkers. The problem with ordering a walker on Amazon is that there was no place locally to see and try the walkers. The Journey Upright Premium Light is very well made. You do not run into the seat when you are walking. The arm rests are very comfortable. The larger wheels make it a great walker for walking around my neighborhood. This is the first review I have ever written, but I would highly recommend this product. It is one of the most expensive upright walkers, but well worth every penny.

NOT All terrain! But, your knees don’t hit the seat.
Cons: 1. This does not roll over grass. I haven’t tried gravel, yet. And, the first page of the manual warns: “Do not use on … uneven surfaces.” “Do not go up or down inclines greater than 15% or diagonally across inclines greater than 5%.” I need an all terrain upright rollator for a retreat in the Poconos. I would have tried one of the Elenker all terrain upright walkers for 1/3 of the cost of this one, but their delivery was too long and it wouldn’t have arrived in time for the retreat. I also need an all terrain upright walker to walk in my yard and garden. I regret believing in this model’s description of “Large Multi-Terrain Wheels.” It works on asphalt, concrete, rugs, and linoleum. I would never try it on a trail! 2. After using it for several hours in one day, my shoulders hurt from “steering” the front wheels. Even while I was walking in a straight line, straight ahead, no obstacles in the way, the front wheels do NOT stay aimed straight ahead. They swivel around like shopping cart wheels. My arms and shoulders were fighting to keep the walker from pulling left or right the entire time I’m walking forward in a straight line. Pros: 1. It came almost all assembled. There’s a good video to show you how to set it up out of the box. 2. Yea!!!!! My knees do NOT bump the seat when I walk! The seat is in front of the vertical, upright bars behind which I walk. Also, the seat is a bit higher than my knees. This clearance is the BEST of the many walkers I tried out at medical supply stores. 3. It folds easily and fits in the back seat of my Honda CRV. 4. It’s sturdy. I trusted it’s holding me up. I walked better today than I have in too many months. 5. The seat is sturdy and firm. It’s not quite as comfortable as I’d like, because I could use a wider seat. But, I didn’t buy it to use as a chair. In Summary, had I not used it all day today, I would return it, because it is NOT useable on grass or uneven paths and because it strains my arms and shoulders just to walk forward in a straight line on linoleum or concrete sidewalks.

Arrived defective and partially assembled. Only recourse offered was to ship back.
If you're looking for a hassle free solution, do yourself a favor and don't buy this. If you're a masochist and enjoy troubleshooting a broken, partially assembled rollator you paid top dollar for, then by all means add to cart. After reading the positive reviews and watching the video, we decided to pay the premium price for the UpWalker. It was supposed to come fully assembled and work out of the box. It arrived partially assembled and the parts necessary for stabilizing it were defective. We contacted support and requested replacement parts. After several days we were told that there are no replacement parts and that our only recourse is to ship the thing back to them. If you're mobility impaired, imagine the fun you'll have trying to box this back up into the 40"x30"x9.5" box at 30+ lbs and load it into a car to take to an Amazon return location. In talking to local dealers they indicated that they can indeed order parts, so I don't understand why Journey wouldn't make this right by shipping us replacements for the defective parts. Also, there are no directions for assembly and it does not come with the arm rest covers it says it's supposed to come with. What a frustrating colossal waste of time with zero customer support. I even tried calling Journey several times and could never get a hold of anybody. For what it's worth, local dealers said they preferred the NOVA and the Vibe rollators.

Edited Review
The walker is well designed and made. A High quality. A bit pricey perhaps but it made all the difference for my decaying lifestyle. But...the box it came in was slightly damaged. Walker okay but a pad was missing. Number for customer service had been disconnected and to be honed, that concerned me. But a google search did turn up a current email and phone number. I received an immediate automated response to my email and within a few days was contacted by a human customer service rep who was happy to assist me. Great experience. If you have back problems to where walking is downright painful, this walker changed my life. I hope it will change yours as well. Highly recommended.

Very sturdy
Helps me keep my balance better. Very easy to fold. Stand alone when folded so easy to take out to a restaurant or wherever. Extremely nice back pad for seating. Add on bags are a plus. It desperately needs a holder for phone. The cupholder is rather useless when you’re walking things are going to inevitably spill. The cup holder is not tall enough to keep a cup inside it as you walk over to rain. When seated, the handle for closing is right in the middle of the seat. The handle also hinders putting a tray there to carry food from kitchen to table. The assist to stand bars are fabulous. They are a must have for any upright walker.

I can walk without stopping every 50 yards or so to breathe
This is a beautifully constructed and sturdy device that moves quite effortlessly on every surface I’ve tested it on so far - interior floors, concrete, street asphalt and bike paths. It reminds me of a well constructed bicycle. The designers were very thorough. They included motion and light sensitive, detachable (magnetic), rechargeable lithium battery operated headlights. The brakes have handy hand manipulable adjustment nuts that do not require tools if the brakes need fine tuning. The brakes are effective. The webbing of the seat is very sturdy and I expect it to be very durable. The wheels have built-in reflectors. The two bags that come with it are well constructed. The front one has brackets that clip onto the frame. The other bag attaches with straps over the handle bars that close with velcro. The bag has links that will readily accept a carrying strap if that is what you prefer. There are padded, detachable covers on the arm rests that cinch with a spring loaded clamp on a draw string. It’s incredible easy to close up with the handle strap built into the web seat. The backrest strap slips effortlessly on and off the bracket on the frame. Everything “screams” well built. For the first time in a couple of years I can walk long distances (a 1/2 mile minimum) without stopping every 50 or so yards to try and stand straight and catch my breath. It is a godsend for me. My husband and I can resume our daily walks. Scoliosis has bent me forward and to the side compressing my lungs and organs. It makes breathing difficult. Walking with the Upwalker allows me to assume an erect posture and walk effortlessly again. Thank you.

Great product
The premise is I am a 100% Disabled Vietnam Veteran at 6'1 and 280 lbs. I have the large Upwalker for outside use, but required one for inside use. Journey Medical purchased Upwalker about a year ago and was not aware of the Premium lite which came on the market last year. The Upwalker was purchased from Amazon because Journey's inventory was back ordered. Received the product in two days and is now my full time Upwalker as it weighs 18 lbs. Without the Upwalker product line I would not be mobile. It is by far the best product on the market.

I did a trial test with mom and we do not feel secure with this Upwalker. It takes too much coordination to use the breaks. Dementia comes comes and goes each day plus dizziness and sometimes she forgets to use the breaks. I purchased this because she has arthritis in her back neck and her walker she had caused her to hunch more causing more pain. She has one step in her home to her kitchen& bedroom and the Upright walker is a bit difficult for her to get down the one stair. She grabs the handles and I feel she will fall forward when she tries to get it down the stair. She’s also not too comfy when she sits on the seating area due to all the upper arm rest and breaks. She is short but she is top heavy (200lbs) so she has to squeeze into the chair due to the upper arm rest and breaks. She is testing it out again today to see if we will keep it or return it.
