I was going to make my own cable to save money. This one is much nicer than home made and the price is about the same as gathering all the parts and making it yourself.

This cord is long enough for me to keep my generator out of the rain in a ventilated shed.I tested this cord and it did not have a voltage drop under a load.The reason for a four star rating is that there is no specification card attached to the cord.

Bought the 50 foot extension cord. Great product for the price. Very sturdy power cord. Should standup well in hurricanes. But the hanging/carry strap is way too small to make it around the entire 50 foot cord when it is rolled up. It is obviously made for the 25 foot cord. I ran it thorough half of the coil (to use as a carry strap) then secured the entire coil with large velcro straps to support the slack.

This is just what we needed. We're not going to use it very frequently but need it to be ready when needed. This cord is used to power our cabin with 30 amps, 220v when we lose power. Totally up to the task.
