Dirt Devil Scorpion Plus Handheld Vacuum, Powerful Suction, Lightweight

Pretty good little vac. Lightweight and easy to use. Wish the cord was a tad longer. Seems to have good suction and we bought it primarily for the stairs. Very versatile though.

If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Powerful little guy! Pulls the doggie hairs out of my sofa effortlessly. I love the built in crevice tool, just flip and go. Even the extension hose has it's own built in crevice tool to get hard to reach places. There is also a dusting tool that slides over the crevice tool. We'll thought out design. Can't beat a Dirt Devil! They have been around forever. A little quieter than an upright. I like the fact that it's not corded. Can't beat AC power. Highly recommended.

Purchased about 1 year ago. While vacuuming the carpeted stairs, the unit would get hot and turn off. We had to wait about 20 minutes for it to cool down. I was ask to provide videos, pictures, invoices, serial number, model number and contact information. Over a period I was asked to send some of the same information multiple times. I finally sent my last piece of information this morning. The quick reply: "After reviewing it, we were not able to identify any issue with the machine. Based on the video provided, the unit appears to be operating normally, and the filter also appears to be clean." When I questioned how to get my ~15 minutes video, I received: "I understand your frustration, and I appreciate your willingness to provide a video so we can review the issue more closely. At this time, I do not have a dedicated upload site to share with you. If the video file is small enough, please reply to this email and attach the video directly. If the file is too large to send by email, please let us know in your reply, and we will review the next available option for receiving it. For the video, please show the machine during normal use until it shuts off, and if possible include the unit after it becomes warm. This will help us assess the behavior more accurately." So everything looked good BUT i could not prove it shuts off by itself. Therefore Dirt Devil has no responsibility to fix it.

It was time to replace my 30-year old Dirt Devil hand vacuum. I specifically use it to vacuum my stairs and it is amazing. The motor is still good but the fabric bag that holds the paper bag ripped so I bought a new Dirt Devil. They don’t make them like they use to and sadly they are not the same quality. First, the cord is very short and I need to use an extension cord since I don’t have wall plugs along my stairs, just at the top and bottom of the stairs. While it’s not as loud as the old Dirt Devil, it is louder than I expected. The suction isn’t as great even though it’s not cordless. And while I appreciate the plastic canister for the debris, I found debris gets stuck in the corners of the canister and hard to dislodge. But for the price, it’s a good value. I just can’t imagine it will last 30 years though!!

This vacuum is a winner. You don't have to have a bag. It has a little brush to scoop up a little things on the floor. It's good for most purposes in a recording studio and or if you have to vacuum 10 x 10 Low pile carpet. I must have for a recording studio. A+ buy.

The suction on the vacuum is very good, which is what I was looking for. I need a good corded brush roller hand vacuum. But - the cord on this unit is entirely too short. It could stand to be double the length to eliminate frustration. And speaking of frustration - this is the most poorly designed unit for emptying the dust pan. Animal fur gets caught up in the front portion of the canister and there is no easy way to remove it and the filter collects so much dust, dirt and fur that there is no reasonable way to clean it. In addition, the flip down crevice tool is very flimsy and moves as you try to use it. The concept of the vacuum is good - but the next version needs several functionality items addressed.

The third devil handheld vacuum is perfect for my stairs. It does a great job and saves me so much time for using my large vacuum.

This little vacuum works great. I tested it on my couch first just to get a feel for what to expect and it worked really well. Normally I have to scrape the couch with the chisel tool on my big vacuum and cleaning inside is a pain. I vacuumed my couch cushions inside and out the back and under the cushions in about two minutes. For my stairs, the cord was not long enough and you might need an extension cord. It did a great job of picking up hair and dirt. It pulled up the pile on the high traffic areas but it did have a little bit of trouble with the higher pile. The swivel head is too easy to knock out of position and I will probably glue it in place. My only complaints are that the court is not long enough and that most of the dirt gets trapped in the felt like filter.

Voldeed niet aan de normen van België. De voltage van Belgie is 240 volt .de handstofzuiger was maar 140 volt. Was niet duidelijk vermeld.de stekker was ook niet naar onze normen.. Jammer!!! Was anders een handig stofzuiger.was ideaal voor wat ik zocht!

.......it has lots of power and suction.....so much more better than the cordless ones. it picks up the dirt and the pet hair! l have 3 dogs and 2 cats and this corded handheld keeps my couch and their beds free from hair!

Der Artikel entspricht nicht der Beschreibung. Der Sauger hat einen in den USA gebräuchlichen Stecker und arbeitet mit 120 Volt.

La compre pensando que era de 220voltios y cuando la probé casi se quema pero la apague rapido, ahora compre un comversor de energia a A 110voltios y no funciona creo que se quemo, esto no se deberia vender sin que diga claramente que no es compatible con la energía normal de cualkier casa de españa, y europa, la maquina es bonita pero es un engaño ahora tengo una aspiradora nueva que no funciona

Una pena que no durará ni un minuto encendida porque tenía buena pinta.
