With the Glowforge Spark, you can cut materials up to ¼ in (0.635 cm) thick and engrave objects up to ¾ in high. You can cut and engrave laser-compatible materials including wood, acrylic, leather, veneer, paper, & cardboard, and hundreds more!

Do I need ventilation with a Glowforge Spark?

As it prints, the Spark typically creates a small amount of smoke and fumes that need to be vented. Venting to a nearby window or door is easy with the included ventilation hose or you can purchase our craft series air filter to use anywhere.
