Great Looking product
We recently had our deck rebuilt with composite material. Our contractor suggested lighted railing caps. Found these on Wayfair with very strong recommendations. Much cheaper on Amazon. They were very easy to install and look great, both during the daytime and at night. I ordered a total of 16 and none of them had any issues. Would certainly recommend.

May need altering
We were very excited about putting these Classy Caps on our deck. We have Fiberon 4x4 posts sleeves but had to cut and modify the bottom Of the cap to make the caps work. Once in they look beautiful!! One of the lights come on but go off after one hour. The rest of them stay on all night long. Love them!

Not perfect, but very good.
This review was written on March 30, 2021, for the sixteen Regal Classy Caps that I bought and installed in August 2017.The white plastic housing has never discolored or leaked after nearly four years. They last all night, even making it to the morning during the winter where I live (about the 45th parallel N). The clear plastic over the solar panels clouds up a bit after a couple of years, somewhat like the headlight housing on a car. It is easily cleaned with some 000 steel wool. I also noticed this month that some of the original batteries that came with the units were dying (two lights were not lighting and some did not make it all night). The original batteries are "J&Y" 1000mAh rechargeables. I replaced them with Eneloop 2000 mAh rechargeables (probably more mAh than needed). On the negative side, after nearly four years three of the sixteen Classy Caps each developed one bad LED (out of four on each light). One other light stays lighted at all times. I'm replacing it and using its LED's to fix the other three lights (it takes some minor soldering).

Expensive but last for years and warranty in case of failure.
Best out there. Waranty honered keep receipts for OEM withstands rough weather. Recondition the batteries and go for 1200MA for longer lasting light all night. Usable light not just decorative.

Good News and Bad News
We just updated our deck with Trex, including their "4x4" posts. These 4x4 lights don't fit. I had to saw off the bottom of theses lights to get them to fit. Once installed, they look very good. I don't know why there isn't a standard size/design for lights like this. Maybe Trex is just weird. In any case, if you are installing on Trex posts, be prepared to do some modifications.
