I love wearing kaftans in the summer but I have to be careful about the fabric. If it's polyester, or even heavier cotton, I get way too hot. I ordered this one because the listing says it's made of viscose, a comfortable, natural-blend fabric. It arrived vacuum packed, which was funny because it was flat and hard . . . I thought it was a clipboard in the envelope! It came out wrinkled but was wearable after a few minutes in a heatless dryer.I'm 5'3", approximately 225lbs. I normally wear a size 18 or 2X. This kaftan fits my shape well, it’s loose in the right places. The side slits come up about mid-thigh, which allows for unrestricted walking. One complaint is that the v-neck is too low and the sleeve holes are too big so my bra shows on both counts. But I think it's because I'm short with sloped shoulders. I just have to wear the right bra with it.The other minor issue I have is that the print doesn't quite look as good in person as it does in the pictures. I got the one with peacock feathers, but the pattern isn't "crisp" and the colors are more exaggerated. So it looks like a really bright but blurry watercolor.Overall, for only around twenty dollars at the time of review, this is a great deal. The construction is done well. They put bias tape or ribbon on the inside so that the seam doesn't irritate the chest/neck. Unless I'm not seeing it, there isn't a tag with fabric content. I am always weary of ordering kaftans/muumuus/nightgowns that are shaped like this online, especially when the sizing is "one size fits most," because that's usually not the case when it comes to my body. I am a size 22/24, or 3x/4x. Most of my weight is in my belly, backside, and hips. I held my breath as i put this kaftan over my body and it just flowed right over me. I was thoroughly impressed. I wore it to the beach and got many compliments on it. the kaftan didn't pull up at my neck throughout the day and the colors are so vibrant. my error came in washing the kaftan. I thought that if i avoided putting it in the dryer, the kaftan wouldnt shrink. i was wrong. i washed the kaftan in the washer in a cold gentle cycle. i put it out on the line to dry. when it was dry, i put it over my head and i had to wiggle to get it back down over my hips. boo for me. hand washing is probably the best for this kaftan, which would be cumbersome. im thinking of putting it on for a while and letting it stretch out over time on its own and just taking more care to not wash it in the washing machine in the future. its too bad. it was so beautiful on me.

Black mark on it not in plastic like all others, looked used. Disappointed with this one. Loved the others.
