Same as Others of Mr Oliver's
Received one day later than notified, however not quite the book I thought it would be, will pass on. A lot of thank you to publishers, designers and all rather boring section, was hoping to be like the TV series, just another book really. They all get greedy when fame subsides.

Big Book
Follows the programmes faithfully and is jam packed with information. I was dissappointed that the art work/memo list visuals are not reproduced in the book as sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words and this book certainly has them. The book is more expensive than his other works but I can see why and this makes an excellent reference book.

Wholesome, Hearty Must-Have Cookbook
Excellent all-round cook book. Friendly feel and many, many recipes that you WILL ACTUALLY COOK, unlike most celebrity chef books.Jamie introduces a vegetable with a spread explaining how he grows tham in his garden, with lots of wholesome photos of him getting his hands muddy. Then follows a section on using that vegetable in the kitchen. Some recipes revolving around it, others focusing on a different main ingredient. The pie recipe is a favourite.

Really good book to accompany the series
A great book, readable and well presented with interesting with recipes that I appreciate from the series. I have several of Jamie's cookbooks but would suggest that you really need to watch this series - or at least some of the episodes - to inspire you to use the recipes. They look mouthwatering and simple to do on the TV...perhaps a little less inspiring just from the book.

I have paid for a new book but I don't believe this is a new book
I ordered a new book for £19.42, I don't believe this is a new book, doesn't look new or feel new and the corner is a bit battered, you can tell when a book is new by the pages, new books don't have pages which have been opened.
