2019 Chevy TrailBoss. This thing is glitchy at best. Didn’t. Work at all out of the box, wouldn’t even stay connected long enough to update the firmware. Then had to use my phone as a Hotspot to try the update. Once that it updated it’s still glitchy. Works when it wants to and constantly drops connection. When using IMAPs it will freeze and you will miss your exit . All of my USB inputs in the front of the truck are connected to the radio. I can’t even plug in my wireless charger to charge my phone while using this device because it forces it to lose connection. If anything I have said in this review scares you because it seems too technical. Do not buy this product . I’ll be sending it back tomorrow

What else is there ti say?I tried updating the firmware and nothing. No customer service. I tried getting customer support through amazon too and they just offered to let me return it.

I was skeptical. But this little piece of hardware really works. My phone can sit in my pocket. Or on a wireless charger. And the Apple Car Play works great.

I would recommend buying this device. Easy to set up. Then I just put my phone on the car’s wireless charger and drive. It turns on Carplay automatically. And of course, the wireless charger isn’t necessary.The device works most of the time. The two times that it did not work seemed to be a result of a lost Bluetooth connection from my phone (once user error and once was a mystery). The very simple and quick solution was to unplug the USB and then plug it into my car’s USB port again, which took about two seconds. After that it started right up again.

I purchased two of these and So far very happy I have a 22 highlander and a 21 Mercedes metris van that had a very unusable car play feature the wireless works perfect wired does not funny I knowHave iPhone 12 Pro Max

I don’t normally give reviews unless something is truly outstanding. This product is amazing I hooked it up in four minutes and was in the car with wireless directions on a 2019 Audi Q7. Played both Apple CarPlay and Google maps off my iPhone without problem. Highly recommend this product it’s super small and convenient. If you see the package it’s barely larger than a key fob.

Just got my 2019 WRX STI and got tired of plugging up the cord for apple car play. Ordered this product not only did it shop up the same day but no more need for a cord. I have no complaints and a very satisfied customer!

I love this little thing. It fits great in my Tacoma. It had really easy setup and the interface is pretty good. It occasionally has some lag issues which is why I rated it 4 instead of 5 stars. Also, sometimes the connectivity fails when you first start up the vehicle. That can be addressed by just unplugging the USB and then leaving out for 5-10 seconds and replugging back in.Pros:Adds wireless CarPlay functionalitySounds just as good as original (though I am no audiophile)Not pricey as a 3rd party head unitEasy setupCons:Sometimes interface is a little slowConnectivity issues (though as stated above easy to fix)Overall its a great product for a great price.
