The Diverter itself seem to work well. The instructions were simple, and it diverts the water as you would expect. My main problem with it is the tubing that is provided with it. Its so flexible and soft that it flattens out and blocks the flow from he diverter. It came all flattened and folded in the box that it didn't want to unflatten when attached to the diverter. So I'll have to replace the tubing, otherwise the water will back up into the diverter and not fill my rain barrel as it should.

This simple diverter works great ! Easy to switch the outlet from right to left, as I did, and I used the 2x3 adapter to fill the space around the bottom of the diverter. I have the larger 3x4 downspouts. This made a nice, clean installation. I used a piece of fine screen above the diverter to filter out bugs and leaves. Made the top part so that it will slide up to allow cleaning or replacement of the screen and also the diverter. My only complaint is the hose. It never straightened out completely from being folded up in the box. Will probably replace that later. My 2-55 gal barrels filled completely from a 1" rain.

This downspout diverter works exactly as advertised! It fit my standard gutter downspout perfectly and was super easy to install. Now I can easily direct rainwater into my barrels without leaks or mess, and flip it back to normal when the barrels are full. The material feels durable and weather-resistant, so I’m confident it will hold up through all seasons. Such a simple but smart way to make use of rainwater and keep my garden watered for free!
