They work - and are more convenient than making your own
These are file inserts for the flat kind of plastic file tags. You fold them in half, tear one end off, and then slide them into the tag; there’s a bit that sticks out at the other end so you can pull it out if you have to, without needing to have really good fingernails. These do what they’re supposed to - they’re thin cardboard/thick paper - and there’s not really much else to say. The alternative to these is to make your own (not hard). And, to be honest, given the price (12p *per insert*!) if I hadn’t got these free via Vine, I most certainly wouldn’t have paid for them - just pass me that scrap paper and pair of scissors...

Fit for the job!
Having inherited an.old filing cabinet replete with old files in work, I decided I needed to.replace the labels to suit what I was filing only to find there were no labels. I had to cut up bits of paper and card to do the job but they didn't fit properly. When I saw these filing tabs I was delighted and set to work travelling my filing cabinet using them. What was formerly an exercise in frustration went like a dream as I was using the tabs meant for the job. My personal work filing cabinet is now easy to manage and navigate. I had enough to also re-label the files at home!

Do job made for well
This is a piece of cardboard with labels printed out and perforated ready to be separated and used to label files. They are designed to be folded in half so file name can be seen both sides. There isn’t much to be said about them other than they do what they are made to do and do it well.Id previously used diy method of scraps of paper and whilst that worked these are much clearer, made to fit the files exactly and look much better and more professional.Seemed to be very expensive for what it is when received but the look it gives to files and clear labelling is much more useful than first appears so reasonable price

The sheet of labels is film wrapped for delivery.
Given what it is I thought the price seemed a little high when I first discovered it but the product itself is of sturdy card/paper. The inserts separate from the card they are supplied as part of by perforations. Writing upon the label it remains solid enough and does not disintegrate or tear. Each insert label is easy to place, it does not tear, fold or break especially easily. The sheet in its entirety is supplied in a plastic film wrap to protect it for delivery. Then supplied within the usual Amazon hard card parcel packing, this is actually heavier than the sheets of label paper themselves.

Good enough but a bit pricey.
These Crystalfile white tab inserts do a reasonable job. There are 34 inserts in the pack which at a cost of £6.01 (price correct at the time of this review) seems a bit pricey to me. However, they are reasonably sturdy and long enough to slide into the correct plastic file tabs (Crystalfile 300 Lateral Files) without bending as you try to insert them. They also leave a small amount of card overhanging the end which makes it easier to remove the label if necessary.Apart from the above nothing much else to say.

Recommended for any office with the correct filing system
These are great time savers. Rexel supply a computer program online to download which is a template for printing all their labels. That's very handy in a shared office environment where handwriting can sometimes be objectionable. Then once they are printed the perforation makes it a doddle to separate the labels without ripping them. If you prefer, handwriting the labels is fine. The card is nice to write on and most inks take to it without blotting or blotching. It is always best having a sheet of these for alterations as and when files need to be update. These have clearly been created with ease of use in mind.

Easier than making your own!
I inherited a filing cabinet full of Rexel hanging sleeves, and in the past I have tried making my own labels out of bits of card, but it's hard working getting them to the right size, and getting them to slot in to the plastic label-holder without bending. As these perforated labels are exactly the right size for the tabs (they fold over, so you can label on both sides) there is no such trouble. It seems a bit pricy for just a sheet of perforated labels, but for the amount of hassle it's saved me I would say it's well worth it.

Handy A4 Sheet of Labels
So we have a A4 sheet of labels that are designed to fit into the Rexel Crystalfile 300 files. There are 34 labels in total on a light weight card with perforated edges for easy tearing. Each page has 17 tabs which you fold in half to make them easily double sided. Price point is £6.04 which I think is a bit steep for two pieces of card.
