Not used them yet but they are good quality, sturdy and lightweight. I have had a few sets of poles from premium brands and these are as good at a fraction of the cost.

I bought these poles because they are similar to ones we had from Austria at another specialty store for much more, and had loved them. I wanted something similar for my wife. At significantly less money, these are *almost* as good. The entire mechanism on the expensive models is fully metal. This one has a metal cam, but the mechanism holder is nylon, which is not quite as good. But it should be good enough I hope. It feels strong and secure. The poles lock very well with just a flick of the cam lever. In some ways, this is better than the expensive ones: the cork upgrade on the handles is nice, and the nuts have good coverings so you can easily adjust them when you are out trekking without tools or struggling. The product shipped by Amazon was missing a small part (the basket). I contacted the seller and they immediately sent me the missing parts. Excellent service.
