It does work on 2008 rav4
It works on my 2008 rav4 I had the locksmith cut and program the key and they did and they told me “this is a good key”!

Five stars! The key part from my key fob for my 2006 RAV4 broke. I ordered this replacement key on Amazon as the Fob was still working. I went to Stu's EZ Auto Remotes in Bucks County Pa and he quickly made me a copy of the original key at a minimal cost. I totally recommend if you run into this problem go check out Stu's. Very nice people too!

It works
Works perfectly on my 2007 RAV4, but you can’t make it to work yourself, you have to take it to the locksmith to get programmed, you are going to save a few bucks, my locksmith charge 40 for that, otherwise I have to pay more than 200 for a new key, it’s a way to save money, of course this key is not he Toyota original obviously, but it does the work!

NO INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED.
NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PROGRAM, I HAD TO LOOK ON LINE AND REALIZED I NEEDED TO GO TO A LOCK SMITH, WHICH ENDED UP COSTING MORE THAN THE KEY AND SHIPPING IT SELF. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT I GUESS.

Very easy
Perfect replacement for a broken case. I took out the working electronics in the old FOB and put in the new FOB. Took key to dealer to cut the key for small fee. Much cheaper than just buying a key from dealer or programming one. Totally worth it.

Ordered 2 keys and one key was delivered missing parts and not assembled.
