Everything you need to know I've covered in this review - The product is very good quality. It is sturdy and welds are also proper. The oil paint, foam, dimentions everything is best for the price it comes at. The only and biggest problem is the installation. Here are main points from my installation experience - 1. First and foremost, the 8 mm anchor bolts provided with the product aren't good. Don't even try them and get more holes in your wall. 2. Buy 8 Rowl Bolts of M10 size from local hardware shop. One piece may cost between 20-25 rupees. 3. Find a professional (electrician or plumber) to install it. Do not try to DIY this as it requires precision and tools that may not be available with you. 4. However if you want to DIY like I did, get those 8 x M10 Rowl Bolts and you will require 14mm drill bit (around 100-150 rupees) to install the bolts. Also get a 17 number wrench (around 50 rupees) to tighten the bolts. 5. You will also require drill machine and water level to check that the bars are perfectly horizontal. I recommend doing a websearch on how to use Rowl bolts. 6. M10 bolts are the best option. It provides sufficient strength and sturdiness. You can go for M12 bolts but then you will have to make the holes in rectangular plate bigger which is another problem in it's own. 7. The holes in the rectangular plate are barely enough to occupy M10 bolt. Hence you need to install the plates very precisely as there is very little room for adjustment and this is the main reason you should get a professional to do it. 8. Best way is to install one bar while checking with water level tube that it's horizontal, then attach second bar along with the rod, make markings for the second bar and then install it. 9. Prefer not to make all holes all together. Install one bar and then do the marking as explained in previous point. 10. In my case I have mounted this on a RC wall. It is made of chicken wire and reinforcement steel. So it is only 4 inch thick but very strong. In case you are mounting it in a brick wall, make sure your wall is minimum 9inch thick. Or alternatively you can find where you lintel beam is and mount on that (hoping not to get steel while drilling). 11. While drilling in a brick wall make sure to get the bolts in the brick and not in the cement part used for bonding. This is trial and error method. Use small drill bit to check if red dust comes then it's brick else it's cement. It has been a hazzle to install this product. It would have been much easier if the manufacturer started including M10 bolts with the product and 12 mm holes in the plates.

Good bar but not easy to install

Hello, friends, at first it's a good one to buy. Quality wise it's great. It's definitely serves the purpose. But the issue is with installing it, you definitely need a pro to get it right, otherwise you will end up with holes in wall. Even if one bolt gone wrong, you are screwed because it won't to be strong enough to hold the weight. Even I faced same situation, the guy whom I hired is expect in such things. But my bad luck in place of two bolts, drilling got struck by iron rods in my wall. I felt struck. Don't know what to do. If I change the place now, I end up with extra 8 holes in wall. But the guy whom I hired gave an idea to drill through the wall, and he used very lengthy bolts and tightened it from in and out. I used four bolts of such on the top bolt position, which will have most weight bearing. You can see in images how it looks from inside and outside the wall. Now I no need to be worried about falling down while I am doing. It's impossible now. If you have chance, do the same thing, you no need to drill all eight holes if you use same technique. As you can see I got only 3 bolts one side because of iron rods inside the wall. Hope it is helpful. And I hope it miight help some of you.

I purchased it at Rs. 1253/- towards the end of the lock-down. The delay in dispatch was anticipated. I had received the stuff in a cardboard box which was damaged in transit but no qualms since the product did not get damaged at all. The built is solid and strong. The pull up bar / rod is a single piece and won't bend with a person weighing 80-90 kg for sure. The installation needs to be done by a professional and additional fasteners may have to be purchased depending on the need or as suggested by the professional. The installation must be done on a firm concrete wall, ideally on a pillar or beam. The holes need to be dug with a hammer drill and perfect measurements for alignments are paramount and thus a professional is needed. I had paid Rs. 250 to the installation person and paid Rs. 20 each for 6 fasteners. We used to fasteners from the provided set. The remaining stuff can be used for other purchases. The straps are good but it will be better to stitch them up before use. Also, you may have to purchase strong climber clips to hang the straps with from the rod if controlled hanging leg raises with support for arms is what you have in mind. I don't use the straps and thus straps are just by the way addition. The padded grips are a bit thick for my hands and the bare bar/rod is much better to hold. I have removed the grips by sliding them sideways. The bar is good enough for underhand chin ups, upper hand pull ups, hanging leg raises with very limited swing motion (else back gets scratched and bruised against the wall). However, if you install it on the beam without the wall, hanging leg raises with swinging motion is possible and if your flexibility allows touching the feet to the rod is possible. If the installation is strong, no issues for a 80-90 kg weighing person. Using it for parallel dips will be a challenge though due to installation height and the pull up bar position. The black paint coating is decent enough and I hope it to last at least a few years but I am not really finicky about it. It solves my purpose of pull ups and that is a good enough reason for me. Overall it is a good product given its aptly economical price.

It is poor designed product. Due to cantileaver effect the wall mounting started coming off with in 1 month. Now the situation is such that you can't hang as the mountings are not able to sustain my 79 kg weight. Actually the design should have two rods, one each from horizontal rod and hinged to wall. so practically 3 hinges at each side. A total waste of money

I have been using this for about 1 year and its good and i used the same bolts provided with this… i have no issues
