Great Barbell - Sturdy and Well Built
Great Barbell - Sturdy and Well Built. The light rubber coating makes the easy to use without worrying about marring the surface I store them on.

The products are delivered and have a chemical smeel, that fades; not bad for price point, BUT
All considered these pairs are great value/cost point. I have multiple "pairs" of dumbbells from this company and the products are as advertised. Some folks complain about the smell, not a big deal for me as the products work for my exercise routines. And the smell fades quickly (at least from my perspective. These additional comments are provided to help fellow customers manage their expectations.But when you purchase these be advised the company does not ship the pairs in the same package, they ship each dumbbell separately. And in my experience, I received a 15 lbs. set, and the 20 lbs. set no issues, but the 25 lbs. set took 3 extra days for the 2nd to arrive, and for the 30 lbs. set the 2nd unit is out for delivery today, 1 day later than the first of this set.

Prepare yourself for the smell
I don’t know if it’s the way it was packaged or what, but the gasoline smell is definitely strong. Came in 2 individual boxes. It’s been unpacked for a week now and my workout space still has a faint smell of it. The quality is great though and it’s a good set of weights.

Disappointed and angry
I have bought other rubber dumbbells from this manufacturer in the past. They had a smell that wore off in a couple of days. But this set, the odor is horrible. Placed it outside for a week, clean it several times but the smell is still lingering. Smell like gasoline, and it gives me headaches. In my opinion this rubber material is toxic and a danger to human life. This should be illegal to sell and remove from the marketplace. Negative five stars.

Pleased
No rubber smell. East to grip with or without the gloves thanks to the markings on the gripping area. These are basically the same as a few other brands I’ve purchased from a popular retailer but this was more convenient for me and a bit less in cost.

Solid piece of equipment!
I'm convering all of my dumbbells to CAP. My first CAP dumbbells were 25lbs, 30lbs, 40lbs, and 50lbs. They are of excellent quality and have held up to daily use. I am now replacing my 20lbs, 15lbs., 12lbs., 10lbs, 8lbs., and 5lbs. with CAP. Stellar product!!! Great buy! I believe you can get up to 20lbs in pairs for a better price so look for that before buying as a single.
