It has very detailed coloured drawings ( no pictures) explaining the subtle differences between species, sexes and geographical distribution. A must-have for identification and research. If a bird exists it has to be in this book!! With all taxonomic names and classifications

This book is one for Ornithologists as well as causal bird watcher. I already have one copy and ought again to gift it to budding bird watcher. It is also a great book for gifting to a nature lover. We have 2000 odd species of birds in Indian subcontinent. Printing is excellent and the paper quality is superlative. One can go for it instead of spending on Chocolates and gadgets on birthdays

Information is good but font size needs to be a little large.

Surely a great book for bird enthusiasts and bird watchers. It's a quite thick book with lots of Indian birds. It contains information about many birds individually with texts and amazing colored pictures. Surely a must buy 💯💯💯

Amazingly put up by the author. Very good description and grouping of multiple birds. The book quality is very good. The pages are glossy and might give you a bit of hallucinating effect if you turn your back against a light source. The outer cover and one page in the middle had slight damage at the side due to inadequate packing material. As the book is quite heavy, without proper packing, it can get damaged. Nevertheless it's an amazing book.

IT IS A VERY COMPREHENSIVE FIELDGUIDE FOR EVERY BIRDER, A NOVICE OR A PRO. THE ILLUSTRATIONS ARE UPTO THE MARK AND THE DESCRIPTION OF THE BIRDS IN THE OPPOSITE FACE ARE TO THE POINT AND HELP IN IDENTIFYING THE BIRDS. ALSO THERE ARE A LOT OF PAGES DEDICATED TO MANY ASPECTS OF BIRDS AND BIRDING WHICH MAKE THIS BOOK A COMPLETE PACKAGE. This e-book is supposed to come with recorded bird calls, which we have not been able to use, as we are clueless as how to use it. Hope Amazon helps us in this regard.

Incontestablement, c'est un très beau guide de terrain d'un format intéressant, pas trop lourd, très esthétique dans sa conception. Je situe la qualité du travail graphique de "bon à excellent", suivant les illustrateurs, mais en général les oiseaux sans très bien représentés, même ceux que je préfère le moins, quand aux autres c'est une véritable réussite. Le couleurs sont magnifiquement rendues et les oiseaux indiens sont flamboyants dans leurs tons rouge, jaune, saphir, turquoise ou vert acide. Aucun problème pour reconnaître les oiseaux sur le terrain, ils sont très bien reproduits dans les détails. Chaque oiseau bénéficie d'une description précise ainsi que de son habitat et d'une carte situant son aire de répartition. Et pour moi, qui suis une collectionneuse de guides ornithologiques, passionnée par les oiseaux, ancienne accompagnatrice de terrain, c'est un véritable enchantement. Je recommande ce livre à tous les amoureux des oiseaux.
